It seems like they need to sent the county jailers over to the collector's office to train.
ReplyDeleteLydia McEvoy has been a good officeholder and County Collector. The Commission and Sheriff should assign a deputy to the courthouse for security to deal with violent and unruly public.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, an atmosphere has developed in the Clay County Courthouse of bitterness and recrimination after many months of disruption caused by a Commissioner to put the other Commissioners in a bad light to hurt their re-elections. The obvious purpose of the disruptions has been to benefit developers who have been trying to control Clay County by hook and by crook for many years. More than one developer has benefited from tax breaks and sweetheart land use decisions. At least one area blogger has been financially compromised by developers. The elections are over and the developers lost despite false accusations, mendacity and prevarications. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of bitterness and recrimination remains. If you poison the pond the waters going to stink for awhile.
