TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY FAST FOOD FAIR WAGE PROTESTERS MARCH TOMORROW AGAINST PREZ-ELECT TRUMP!!!

If the weather holds up . . . It should be a beautiful day in Kansas City for an outdoor hike as these fast food workers continue their advocacy.

To wit . . .

COMING SOON: FAST FOOD FAIR WAGE WORKERS TAKE THE STREETS ONCE AGAIN TO PROTEST AGAINST MINIMUM WAGE RULES AND THE UPCOMING TRUMP ADMINISTRATION!!!

Quizzically, the notice of their protest is kinda unclear in as much as the "devastating loss" they reference might be Hillary Clinton defeat OR the fact that the GOP dominated Missouri General Assembly has ruled that municipalities like Kansas City can't independently raise wages. In fairness, the Missouri minimum wage is currently the subject of a court fight that has a much better chance then politicos operating without sanction from the law.

Here's the notice . . .

11/29: United We Stand

We're angry. We're in fear. We've had a devastating loss but we aren't defeated. The attacks are coming against us all. We've all been fighting for $15/hr, a union, and equality for three years. An injury to one is an injury to all. Trump can't attack any working Americans - LGBTQ, people of color, women, workers of all colors, and immigrants - without attacking us all. We'll face and fight this together!

  1. they will have more support this time around.

these protest never made sense with president obama in charge but now they have a real bad guy to oppose in Trump.

look for a "super size" to his opposition.

  2. Good for them that they keep going with their cause.

  3. Better title: Automated kiosks keep working while workers play politics.

  5. Look clowns I'm not being attacked by Trump at all or will be. I got an education and have worked my ass off making a career for myself. I wanted more out of live than being a burger flipper.

  7. SEIU's Andy Stern was the most frequent visitor to President Obama's White House. I don't think he's going to get an invitation from President Trump. This demonstration, like all the others, will be full of the sound and the fury, but signify nothing.

  8. "...it is likely that the races have evolved divergent evaluations of cooperativeness, aggression, rule-following, and concern with the future."

Jesus. Let me guess...you have an advanced degree in Molecular Biology from Yale or some shit like that, right? Or did you do your own "independent research" through stormfront and infowars? Maybe you are a troll or maybe you are truly a moron (it can be two things). Regardless, it is pretty clear you don't know dick about what you are talking about.

  9. same old crap. i don't want to work, give me welfare. i'll work the least meaningful job in a half assed way, give me more money than the job is worth.
if it was such a great thing, why didn't the socialist in chief get it passed while he was in power?
you inflate the wage, you'll lose the jobs. oh, then it's back to welfare! i understand now!

  10. Wages could go up if the illegals were sent home. Trump might be their best friend.

  11. These shitheads should be glad to be hired anywhere and at any wage. Mickey D's on Troost is about their only option, so they better STFU and get to flippin' burgers.

  12. Toneeeeee! As long as you identify with these flaky fucks and keep promoting their worthless causes your credibility is going to suffer. You need to have your issues looked at dude!

  13. How can something suffer when it's already dead?

  14. I like these protesters. They remind me why I should never eat fast food for health reasons and political ones too.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Lots of people hate this cause and I respect that. But what I don't understand is anybody sticking up for McDonald's or any fast food chain.

They're literally destroying the rain forest, their food is shitty and they obviously have very little respect for the their employees or their customers.

    What's to like?

I may not go march with the protesters, but I'm not going to eat at these shitty places either.

  16. Wouldn't their time be better spent going to some FREE training and skills-development courses and...
    Oh, never mind.

  17. there seem to be a disproportionate number of low-paying jobs these days.

if the supply of low-wage workers is not infinite in the future, as it has been with no limits on immigration, wages will go up.

even the most hard-boiled observer has to feel sorry for the way unskilled black workers are in a hopeless situation competing with illegal workers.

    1. This hard-boiled observer feels no sorrow for black workers whatsoever. While I'm not a supporter of illegal immigration, you could deport every illegal in the country and there would be no more blacks working than there are now. It's no secret that lots of blacks prefer welfare and other handouts to work of any kind.

  18. low wages for low skills....fuck JoJo/harley.11/28/16, 8:07 PM

I say fuck em and let the illegals have the jobs that cant be replaced with automation or self service. These cock bites are democrats or socialists, same thing. They continue to vote left wing, then blame the right for their shitty lives. Fuck them and anyone who thinks acts or looks like them.

  20. They better march themselves over to the unemployment line when they get replaced with self serve automated kiosks

  21. Blacks displaced from a job???

    WAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

    That shit is funny.

    ReplyDelete
  22. We all should realize by now that this effort is funded as backed by the SEIU. This union is the worst at negoiating low wage contracts for their members and this is their effort to get their members a wage increase without the union pissing off the companies they have been unable to get these same raises for in the past.
