TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY AND KCPD CHIEF SILENT ON TRUMP SANCTUARY CITY CRACKDOWN AS ACTIVISTS SOON TO DEMAND LOCAL IMMIGRATION ANSWERS!!!

Immigration enforcement questions amid the rise to power of Prez-elect Trump continue to confront the nation and Kansas City.

Earlier this week, talk of deporting millions of illegals and targeting sanctuary cities with some of the same polices that currently rule KCMO sparked a firestorm.

Across the State Line . . . The KCKPD Chief recently noted his immigration policy in no uncertain terms which is important given the highly concentrated population of undocumented immigrants living in his jurisdiction.

Sadly, in the aftermath of hundreds of protesters on Kansas City streets talking about immigration . . . Both the Mayor and KCPD Chief haven't said much on the topic . . .

In fairness, The New York Times and many other global news organizations often feature KCPD tactics noting "a philosophy of policing and community development that generally treats immigrant day laborers, known to be illegal, as a part of the community."

There are many who hope the silence on this topic from both Mayor and Police Chief suggests they'll remain steadfast to this practice . . .

Nevertheless . . .

RIGHT NOW KANSAS CITY IMMIGRATION ACTIVISTS ARE PREPARING POINTED QUESTIONS TO BOTH THE KCPD CHIEF AND MAYOR SLY REGARDING THE FUTURE OF IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT ON LOCAL STREETS!!!

Other mayors of sanctuary cities have spoken out against proposed Prez-elect Trump immigration policy this week . . . The silence of Mayor Sly and Chief Forté is deafening and runs contrary to the Democratic Party affiliations and protestations of most of their supporters.

Meanwhile, as bigger, better cities step up to defend their illegal immigrant sanctuary policy it's not unfair that locals from all sides of the political spectrum should ask Kansas City authorities and elected leaders for a clarification of their approach to a controversial topic given that City Hall has shown very little leadership on this issue and so many other pressing concerns amid the rise of Prez-elect Trump.

  1. Don't be daft TKC. Both to these guys are under fire for more important things. They aren't going to take their time to answer any questions from activists or Latinos. If they lose support from the north, they won't be in office for long.

  2. America agrees with Trump. Both left and right want more immigration control. Sly and the chief would be wise to change their views on this topic because they won't be able to hide their policy forever.

  3. Whose jobs will be taken by these undocumented immigrants? Jobs that would go to black people. How is Sly and Forte helping their own people if they let people in to take their jobs?

  8. two truths, not obvious, but true:

big business elites and small businesses have no incentive to hire and train black people if they can hire cheaper labor in the form of illegals.

minimum wages or entry-level wages would be higher as a result of market forces, not legislation, if massive illegal labor didn't keep wages low at the margin.

hence, poor americans will be better off if illegal labor can be diminished.

  9. I'm calling bullshit on this one. There is some highly skilled undocumented workers here in the the Kansas city. Blacks are locked out of construction jobs close to the repost dividing line. Union busting keeps wages low since they began dropping in 1966. Robotics have replaced many jobs that won't be coming back.

"two truths, not obvious, but true:

Are you assuming undocumented would require no training? Wow! Are the that multi-talented?

"minimum wages or entry-level wages would be higher as a result of market forces, not legislation, if massive illegal labor didn't keep wages low at the margin."

Gee. Have you checked the definition of market forces lately? Have you read about what happened to the peach crop in Georgia when strict immigration laws were actually enforced?

"hence, poor americans will be better off if illegal labor can be diminished."

Only if they never need a roof replaced or any hard work done.

  16. First of all, I have been on and off construction sites for over 30 years. Black guys are non existent there. The work is too hard, you have to show up on time, take orders and do a high quality job, or you are gone. Mexicans can do the work, blacks won't even try.

    What can I say.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm ok with "Sanctuary Cities". It is the refusal of local cities and some states to comply with Federal Law.

I can't wait until the other shoe drops.

No more onerous, expensive and pernicious Civil Rights Laws in areas, say, like Kansas, Missouri and other states where now, after we can all tell Uncle Sam to shove it, you will actually have to qualify for a job by way of experience and acumen as opposed to a quota or fiat delivered from Washington DC, complete with threats of fines and jail time, if you don't hire, admit, serve or be nice to the victim de jour.

Jobs, admissions, laws, the entire panoply of restrictions placed around the necks of citizens, business and education in all walks of life, in all strata of society can and WILL be ignored if Federal Law in Sanctuary Cities is ignored. You can rent to whom you want to, sell to whom you want to, ignore and marginalize whomever you want to in your own business, home, neighborhood, city and state.

So go ahead, bring it on.

If you don't think, that there are cities, suburbs and states watching this little bullshit rebellion and hoping that those "hero" mayors succeed, then you are playing checkers while everyone else is playing chess.

  18. Sanctuary Cities are good.
They can have all the scumbags they want.
Just so long as they leave here.
And don't go asking the Feds to pay for it.
Let them sleep at the "Sanctuary" city Mayors house.

  19. Rescind Obama's executive action that illegally stopped enforcement of the 1990s workfare law. Then all these blacks will be ready to backfill the jobs opened when the illegal immigrants go away.

  20. what these activists still refuse to admit is that these people are here illegally, they entered and refuse to leave. Many are on government support from hard working taxpayers and these activists also refuse to acknowledge this as well.

hopefully Trump will fulfill his promises of closing our borders and deporting those who should be deported (criminals) many have concerns that there is some wiggle room in his statements about not breaking up families but I have heard nothing about the illegals who are criminals that have families.

I'm tired of hearing these activists and political leaders (leaders that is a joke) claim they will protect all that are here illegally...time for those who are illegal to depart

    ReplyDelete
  21. Like the hat on Trump. As for his promises, I'll wait and see but it's hard for anyone to get things accomplished in Washington D.C., I hope he an do half of the things he says but it'll be touch facing both republican and democrat opposition.

    ReplyDelete
  22. "Many are on government support from hard working taxpayers and these activists also refuse to acknowledge this as well."

Do you have any evidence of this? And do you realize undocumented workers pay income taxes using a "Tax Identification Number" in lieu of a Social Security Number? And are you aware undocumented workers pay into Social Security but are not eligible for any benefits? This means they are subsidizing Social Security, which means the government has very little incentive to deport them as long as they obey the law.

  23. The la Cuca Raza dreamers will be dealt with one way or another...

  24. 7:27 stop the sanctimonious lecturing. "You are aware" that illegals (quit calling them "undocumented") receive the full range of other government benefits?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Take off your rose colored glasses, 727. MANY of these illegals do not have a TIN; a lot are even paid in cash. For example, I used to see a roofing company owner go to the bank inside Walmart on Friday afternoon, withdraw payroll and hand out cash like Santa Claus to his crew.

    ReplyDelete
  26. 11:09: Do you have any evidence that illegals "receive the full range of other government benefits?"

4:24: The practice of being in cash to avoid taxes is not limited to "illegals," but it's also not a universal practice among "illegals." The NewsHour reported that New York alone receives $1 billion in taxes from "illegals" each year.

  29. Forte has disappeared almost completely in the past two months. He has stuck his head out of the hole a couple times to make excuses for the violent crime rising, which he took credit for lowering just last year. However, he's now in deep shit for lying in a deposition related to his illegally placing a lesbian female in a job she didn't earn and the powers that be are just waiting to can him. Don't expect much from him until he's being fired.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I hope a lot of people at KCPD get fired.
What a worthless police department, if you can even call it that.
