There's a myth that professional sport teams unite cities and forge bonds of friendship beyond demographic lines through the benefit of competition. In Kansas City, nothing could be further from the truth. The Chiefs and Royals are mostly a pastime for affluent white people who skew overwhelmingly Republican and in support of Donald Trump.
The recent 2016 World Series elicited some complaints from Kansas City residents about adverts ruining their baseball watching experience but the demographics and market analysis behind advertiser support was solid.
Let's drill down further . . .
- Kansas City Royals and Chiefs games are exceptionally costly compared with local entertainment options. Recent winning streaks have drive up prices even further. The prices are mostly paid by older, middle-class white mailes. Even a cursory look in the stands reveals those pro-sports patrons are all white guys. Fact check: Whites elected Trump.

As many have said, blacks as a whole are a failed race, they will soon have no place in this world as it will require a different skill set to prosper in the future. Trump, I think, will actually try to help them, but the vast majority will reject it.
