Brief aside . . . The more brilliant denizens of our blog community remind us that talk of former Missouri Auditor Tom Schweich and the so-called "whisper campaign" about alleged Jewish heritage was clearly a manufactured political hit piece and the poor guy was just unbalanced given that Missouri Conservatives seem to be welcoming the State's first Jewish Governor with open arms.
