  1. Not like it matters. If you miss anything and it fails the city African'ts will be right back in the next election trying to get their wishes by you.

So wait a minute. You always complain about people not getting a say, things getting rammed in with no scrutiny. This is what democracy looks like. How is that SHAME. This is the system we have. That people are uninformed or ill informed about issues there is no doubt but that is others laziness and sloth. I appreciate the opportunity to have my say.

I'm a suck up? The system is not perfect but it is ours. So we stand in lines and perhaps the ballot has lots of things on it... So what?? At least we get to have a say. Again I ask... where is the shame in that?

  5. I voted absentee a week ago. I printed off the sample ballot from the election commission web site and went through it. When I voted at the County offices I was in and out in about 10 minutes TOTAL. That included presenting my photo ID, getting the ballot, 3 minutes marking it, sealing it in the envelope and depositing it in the locked ballot box.

If I can mark my ballot in 3 minutes, surely midtown people can get it done in 10 minutes.

    Do your prep. Stop whining.

  7. You can speed it up a lot by just voting NO on everything. Most of it is for toy trains and other wastes of tax payer money.

  8. I thought you don't have to be able to read in order to vote. Damn core KC could be one long line.
