Is that why there are still tens of thousands of illegal immigrants in Kansas? They aren't going to do shit about immigration. That wall will never be built. Not one yard of concrete will be put down for that wall. You rubes will believe anything. Why doesn't Kobach and Brownback go to the massive feedlots in Western Kansas and arrest them by the bus loads? Because ADM, Tyson, Monsanto, etc want that labor. They have hired lobbyist and contributed to their campaigns to make sure they have that cheap labor. Republicans want them here and have so for decades, well before the black guy became President. Republican governors in border states have let millions in going back to the 60's.
ReplyDeleteHey Tony, I've been to both the Iron Curtain between East and West Germany, and the DMZ between North and South Korea. Those walls both did an OUTSTANDING job of keeping people from crossing. And with as barren as much of our border is, we won't need a wall for much of it; electronic surveillance with border agents will be enough.

ReplyDelete5:55, I have had new roofs put on by American citizen roofers (when there still were some) and by probable illegal immigrant roofers. The prices were similar, and well below your $30k. You really do not know what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteYessiree BOB, our neighbors and I have hired great licensed roofers, chimneysweeps, lawncare, and other contractors for our homes near Kansas Speedway. Seen reliable immigrant laborers from my parish amidst local, established crews. In the Dotte, ask a FD/PD family--they know the trusted referrals, it seems.
