The rising homicide count continues to spike after early morning violence claim another murder victim.
Police say the deadly shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m., at the Phillips 66 convenience store near Drury Ave and Bannister Road.

Maybe building a police station near there would have prevented this? Oh wait...9701 Marion Park Drive Kansas City, Missouri to 5501 Bannister Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137 is 0.9 miles away (3 minute drive). I guess having a police station didn't help the deceased in any meaningful way.
