Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Crisis: Crucial Alex Smith End Zone Interception Snaps Win Streak In 19-17 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Loss

Even the most diehard Kansas City Chiefs fans now realize that Alex Smith is damaged goods after a recent head injury.

Like it or not, the Chiefs QB has never been a fan favorite and despite a few moments of brilliance, he has consistently proven to be a weak spot for the team.

Today's conclusion:

ESPN: Bad news for Chiefs is not the loss but the way they're playing

Questions after this loss:

- With The Win Streak Broken, Are We In For The Typical Chiefs Implosion During NFL Crunch Time???

- Have Injuries Destroyed The Team Halfway Through The Season???

- Are The Chiefs Willing To Sacrifice This Season Out Of Misplaced Loyalty To A Mediocre And Still Shaky Quarterback???

To be fair, Alex Smith has his fans but longtime supporters of the Chiefs fear the remainder of the season is threatened given the QB's lackluster performance for the past few games.

You decide . . .

Check the twitter board. Most fans are saying the team at best loses the 1st round of the playoffs and those are the hardcore tailgaters.

Here's the real problem for the NFL.

The ratings:

With the Presidential election over, will NFL ratings rebound?

Notice how the protests have stopped? The players are getting the point.

If Alex Smith was Paco Gonzalez he would be a fan favorite no doubt !

^^^ Lulz. I think you're overestimating how much people like Paco.

We'll get 'em next season!

Never anything new in swiss chiefs land: as every since January 11, 1970 'wait till next year, part 2017, verse 48', the rigor of a rite.

7-3, and Alex isn't completing long passes when needed. Give Foles the next 3 starts, if good, the last 3. I sense he can get KC to playoffs.

The ratings are back up you losers, NFL is where "conservative" cucks get to watch better and richer black men that you envy so much.

Uh, JackKnowsSquat ^^^ why throw in race? Since ya brought it up, how many NFL franchises are black biz mogul owned? And how many black attorneys/agents are representing: player personnel, other staff, media members, vendors, facilities,
advertising, and all other
contractual arrangements? Who knows...or cares?

Sports entertainment makes
America greater with wealth
spreading to all demographics.
Tax revenues gained from wage earnings (everyone from part-
time
stadium attendants to multi-
millionaire players) is
yuuuuuge. Food, drinks, tickets, parking, and
merchandise sales add more tax
takes.

Let's be grateful big money stays in the U.S. with little league to major league enterprises. Casinos, catalog shopping, and movies don't DO IT for EVERYONE.
