Missouri State Senator Ryan Silvey sued to get his opponent J. Bechthold off the ballot and lost.
Now, as the election draws closer, the Sen. Silvey campaign continue this stalling tactic which some call cowardice and others perceive as a political game of chicken.

"Regarding the Statehouse Blend segment on KCUR with Steve Kraske.
J. Bechthold was asked if he'd be interested in sitting down head to head with MO Sen. Ryan Silvey for the segment, which he agreed to. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts from KCUR, which the Silvey campaign has refused to answer, the interview has been canceled.
He has now refused (to debate) twice, once before the lawsuit, and now after the suit as well."
