"I doubt the media will touch this one but the teens were out of control last night in the area of the Plaza. Once the entertainment district curfew went into effect the large groups left and went toward Mill Creek Park, American Century, and QT. Large fights of 40-50 kids and teens broke out and someone started shooting. I don't think anyone was hit but everyone started running into the neighborhoods. A neighbor told me that the police chased a car from the scene but they didn't know if it was connected.

Like typical feral animals, they run wild in every direction, ignoring traffic lights, darting out in front of cars, hooping, hollering and carrying on like they do. Sadly I think the Plaza is too far gone to be saved now unless they get lots more cops/security as a sundown to sunup presence throughout the entire Plaza. I can't even imagine what JC Nichols would think.

ReplyDeleteI'll probably never go there again. I have no reason to. Not even in the daytime. The Plaza businesses will not get another penny of my money until they can totally prevent these criminal sons and daughters of criminals from doing this intentional damage.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to make this problem disappear is for everybody to have the same opinion I have, and I encourage all law abiding people to do this, as well. Three or four weekends of absolutely zero business from law abiding people and instead destruction and gunfire from feral animals and they'll be making radical changes to get our business back.
If they don't make immediate changes, it's done, forever. Stick a fork in it and prepare for mass exodus by every business located there. The upside is that maybe a few of those cool businesses will relocate to my safe neighborhood.
So why are we putting up with this bullshit from a bunch of punk as kids, especially when there is not a reason in the world why we should have to? This is NOT rocket science. Establish some personal accountability and this bullshit will stop.
ReplyDelete5 reasons: Not enough cops to deal with the problem the way it should be, the juvenile system lets them right back out with no punishment, the parents don't care, and the biggest reason is the race card that would be played, even by the mayor who wants the kids to do what they want to because they don't have things to do.
