On the KU gun story...it says drinking is allowed at sporting events? Do they sell beer on campus? I think that's a mistake...or an intentional scare tactic to promote gun grabbing.

>On the KU gun story...it says drinking is allowed at sporting events?

Drinking is not allowed inside the stadiums. Alcohol is permitted inside the parking lots on gameday if you are over 21.

Hopefully some of his fellow inmates find out what he's in for. If so, I'm thinking there's a good chance he'll get shanked in the shower. In the meantime he should be castrated to ensure he never rapes anything else.

Why is Koster's face always so red?

You mean all the breathless hype and selling their souls about Google fiber from Sly and the council and the whole thing turns out to be much about not much of anything?
So the metro isn't the cutting-edge tech capital of the world?
And Google isn't going to sweep all the competition away because everyone desperately has to have ultra-high-speed internet?
What about the digital divide?
What are the grandiose announcements from city hall today?
That we'll all end up paying for...again.

In other news, Chris Koster has denounced Hillary Clinton for paying her male staffers far more than she pays her female staffers.

Not.

It's just political theater.

Google fiber will never permeate this metro. Google came to town, got their tax breaks, lallygagged around, fiddle farted, cherry picked and now in five years the technology will be well on it's way to being legacy for all but secure data traffic. Again the wool gets pulled over the collective eyes of dumb ass wannabe high tech KC dreamers. I will bet anyone, anytime that Google Fiber will NEVER be available throughout the metro area.

^^^^^My Google Fiber's worked well for several years now. I was happy to escape AT&T and their high fees and horrible customer service. Getting a better service as well is a big plus.

BTW, Google's not going away in KC, and they're exploring wireless elsewhere.
