Local Internets video offers a glimpse of violence continuing within the walls of the KCPS.
The lie here is the mistaken notion that this kind of thing doesn't happen all the time. Fact, is . . . Anybody with a few younger friends sees a CONSTANT STREAM OF KCPS SCHOOL FIGHTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA . . . This blog stopped reposting them a few years ago because they happen about every week and we didn't want to encourage even more violence.
Here's the word on the latest . . .
FOX4: "The fight happened Monday at Paseo Academy - and is now being investigated by school officials According to the girl seen in the video, the clash resulted after she endured months of bullying and was targeted by the boy. She says both of them have now been suspended."
Statement From The KCPS . . .
There was a fight between two students on Monday afternoon, Oct. 17 at Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. School staff responded and the fight was ended. An investigation is being conducted and the students will be disciplined in accordance with the policies, procedures and consequences explained in the Kansas City Public Schools 2016-2017 Student Code of Conduct.
This incident is not a common occurrence at Paseo Academy this school year. KCPS and Paseo Academy staff will take every available measure to prevent similar incidents in the future.
A top priority of KCPS is to foster a positive environment where high-level teaching and learning occurs. Incidents like this one happen at high schools across the U.S. and illustrate the importance of ongoing efforts to teach young people how to treat each other with respect and how to resolve conflicts without resorting to violence. Superintendent Mark Bedell and his team are working hard to develop short- and long-term solutions, including:
A comprehensive and innovative mentorship program
Effective anti-bully initiatives at every school
Trauma-sensitive schools training, resources and procedures for staff

Not much learning going on her. Not much hope of getting back to full accreditation. That's a shame. Paseo used to be one of the best schools in KCMO.

This encapsulates the black race. Completely unfair fight with a boy attacking a girl, along with other girls helping him. The next time I see a black person fight fair will be the first time. Can you imagine what it would be like to work at that school? My dad went there but that was a long time ago before the black plague ruined it.

Just saw the young black male animals mom on TV defending him. It would be absolutely hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic and a perfect representation of the black race. All of the black female traits are in full view. Interview taking place in front of Section 8 housing, she is of course about 15 years older than her son who of course has a different last name than she does, neck tats, silver front teeth, nose piercing, and zero command of the English language. I'm sure she has several other worthless kids as well, all with different last names. The cost the black race causes us working people is incalculable. We need forced sterilization.

Paseo high school has been known as the GAY school since the early 90s... With that being said the boy is GAY. And that's was is "girlfriends" instigating that bullshit. His mom apologized cause she knows her GAY ass son was wrong... See remember they both said one was bullying the other. My opinion is that the boy was acting too GAY and a girl (i think wasn't wrong) probably told him to be a man as he should... He couldn't take it

The girls step mom is moderately ghetto and both boy and girl claim to be bullied. 100%, Paseo is really an alternative school where mostly gay types attend school. This is where that whole self-identifying crap gets challenged. A noy is a boy. A girl is a girl. Conflict resolution is wholly absent.

Any education they may have acquired is almost always subpar. It's very difficult to find well-meaning, value-centered blacks. It's like a needle in a haystack.
