Show-Me Missouri Green Party Alternative Against Racist Northeast Kansas City Ingrid Burnett Dem. Campaign For District 19

*Seen here, Lucy Pinder looks good in green but the Brit hottie isn't running for office.

Not so long ago, Ingrid Burnett gave up on the school board when things got tough and in a recent election challenge, her campaign  ran a disgustingly racist attack effort against her opponent.

Now a word from her latest opposition which surprisingly sprang up after residents in Northeast were sickened with the shameless tactics used by Team Burnett in the primary . . .

"I want to bring to your attention the state representative race in the 19th District between Valorie Engholm (Grn) and Ingrid Burnett (D). The race is very close, and Ingrid Burnett has referred to her pursuit of the seat as a retirement plan while making disparaging attacks on her former primary opponent."

A note from their campaign . . .

Volunteers canvassed Historic Northeast over the weekend and "An educator and UMKC alumna, Valorie Engholm is the only candidate running on a truly progressive platform emphasizing the need for equitable education opportunities, an equitable Green economy, and renewed concern about the environment."

Reality check, this one is a long shot but for Northeast voters who are tired of voting for a mean-spirited, worn-out old school Democratic Party lady's efforts . . . At least this race provides a guilt-free and environmentally safe alternative amid the always toxic political environment of Kansas City's urban core.

You decide . . .

  1. Of all the elections, this is the one where Sean O'Toole would have been smart to run.

Good for this lady for trying but it is a solidly Democratic district.

  2. Ingrid is alright.

    Admit it TKC.

A lot of the points she made against Manny were on target and that's why they work.

He's doing the right thing and continuing his work in the district. So I think he has a good shot next time around.

  7. Just what we all need, more Progressive- Obama Care type politicians taking care of our cash.

Progressives should be hung in trees, or, at least made to pay for all the bullshit they eventually ram down our throats with the help of lay-about low lifes that vote for a living and live off of our tax money.

"Progressives should be hung in trees," & "low lifes (sic)"

Interestingly, he doesn't seem to think of himself as a lowlife, just an All American wannabe lynch mob leader.

You have no idea how much it pleases me to be hated by you!

  10. She is in favor of "equitable education opportunities" (notice that she did not say "equal"). Well, who isn't? Her platform also includes "an equitable Green economy and renewed concern about the environment." Neither plank has anything to do with a seat on the school board. She's just another loony leftie. Burnett should and will win.
