More frightening local gunfire reported in the metro during this 2016 crime spike:
"According to court documents, someone in a vehicle fired shots at a home at East 65th Terrace and Overton in Raytown. After fleeing police, the vehicle eventually was stopped in Kansas City after running over some stopsticks. Five males fled the vehicle. Two were captured, including the defendant. Witnesses told police the suspect was one of two shooters in Raytown. The defendant told police he fired into a crowd because of an on-going feud between the two groups."
