Pitch Exposes MoDOT Exec Family Crisis To Report Costly Housing Reimbursements

Here's the only thing close to a local news story in the Pitch this week . . . Which is once again dreadfully skinny and mostly packed with foodie and sex adverts . . . "An auditor's report detailing $7.1 million in road funds spent on expenses unrelated to highway construction or maintenance." That's one of those horrible facts reminding us that even Heartland white people working in state biz are kinda sketchy . . . However, to make the story just a bit more "sexy" they start out with domestic drama and a one-sided account of an alleged beat-down . . . Of course it's captivating but doesn't really do the public much good . . . Moreover, the fact that most locals are politely ignoring the sordid story shows us that our favorite alternative publication still struggles to find its place amid the social media era when stories like this one make horrible shares . . . You decide: KC's well-paid top MoDOT official charged with assaulting fiancée's 15-year-old son

  5. FINALLY - this maniac's TRUE COLORS exposed. MoDOT employees have had to endure his wrath and bullying behind closed office doors for years - good riddance in light of today's announcement. Hope this ends his U.S. military career, too - UCMJ Article 133 - conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman!

  6. MoDOT in KC will be much better place for this decision. Letting someone go after prior full retirement is always difficult. It was the right move for the Department.

  7. Nothing was ever mentioned about her other young son. Praying this monster hasn't hurt him too. The saddest part of all is that she ended up marrying the creep after he beat her and her son up. Talk about a family crisis indeed!
