TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! SUPER DAVE SURVEYS KANSAS CITY STORM DAMAGE & OLD SETTLERS DAYS BLOWOUT!!!
It rained last night . . . So, of course there is a bunch of flooding in Kansas City along with various impassible and pothole filled streets full of sewage . . .
Meanwhile . . .
Check this update from Super Dave regarding a JoCo Tradition:
"Heavy winds associated with the thunderstorms blew down while destroying a good number of craft and business booths set up for the Old Settlers Days going on in Olathe tonight. Far as I can find out no injuries. Some claim 50 to 60 mph wind but I don't think so more like forty maybe. Many booths won't be able to reset up due to damage and product ruined and blown all over the streets."
"Being told by staff that 80 vendors had storm damage a number I think is high but I have seen a lot of damage . . ."
Bottom line . . . Once again, rain, thunder and lightening overnight thwart the best laid plans of public officials and politicos who are constantly thwarted by their own desire and mother nature.
