SILICON PRAIRIE DISPARITY: KANSAS CITY STARTUP SCENE EXCLUDES MINORITY BIZ!!!



The executive world of tech is mostly white despite the fact that a great deal of their goods are manufactured by Asian toddlers and services are designed and maintained by low-paid workers in India.

Prez Obama recently asked high ranking tech companies to take a minority hiring pledge.

Closer to home, this report reminds us that people of color in the local tech community are often excluded from so much political biz community hype . . .

Report: Kansas City is the 8th-worst metro for entrepreneur diversity

The bureau on Thursday unveiled the results of its first-ever Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs. The report, which canvases only the nation’s firms with employees, is designed to provide a socio-economic portrait of businesses in the years between the Survey of Business Owners.

Of the 50 most-populated U.S. metros, Kansas City ranks a low 42nd in percentage of minority business owners. Minorities own only 9.5 percent of metro firms, compared to a national average of 17.5 percent.

The bright side to this is that there are a great many minority-owned tech firms operating independently and without the community of propagandists who are forced to buy into streetcar and downtown development hype in exchange for paltry payouts and pointless affiliations.

The Bureaucrats in KCMO do everything in their power to drive out any business not among the elite. Not hard to figure out why minorities don't start businesses.

All this proves is what everyone knows. Blacks would rather mooch than build a productive life. There is absolutely nothing stopping blacks from starting a business and, in fact, they have a huge advantage over others in doing so. If it wasn't for other minorities that actually do produce the numbers would be worse.

I'm not sure that Shaquanakakina's House of Braids and Extensions or Babooniol'alaboomboom's "Q" Shack qualifies as Silicon Praire startups. But I'm sure they get free government money anyway.

Anything surround the usual hype and hysteria rately involves minirities. Kansas City, despite it's liberal, democratic overtones, is a Whites only city. Anything cultural here is a novelty at best.

We should give up on the brown brothers bullshit. Whites who avoid Blacks do so not so much because of their skin color (although let's be honest, it's hardly as desirable as White skin color), but because they are inherently dysfunctional, volatile, violent, easily angered, and possess strong inclinations to steal and rob others. They are, essentially, a race of misfits who are perpetually dependent on the White man's kindness and gullibility.

In order to counter this common misconception, it's imperative that race-conscious Whites always center their arguments on typical Black dysfunction and uncivilized behavior. These folks can't handle the truth when Whites make the issue not about skin color, but about their conduct, their lack of civility, their inability to function in White society.

Truth is, they were never designed for civilized and technologically advanced White societies. They belong on the African plains, erecting mud huts, worshipping idols, performing voodoo, and engaging in neighboring tribal warfare. Whatever the case, it's time to admit that they don't belong with us. Isn't it clear by now?
