According to court records, a homeowner in the 200 block of W. 62nd Street came home and the defendant came running from his kitchen and pointed a gun at him. He threatened to kill the resident. The resident struggled with the defendant and wrestled the gun away from him. He slammed him against a wall and the defendant ran out the front door. Officers responded to two other reported burglaries in the area. At one they found a 9 mm handgun in the basement, where things were misplaced or missing. Officers were called to another nearby residence where a resident said they tried to open the door to a shed attached to the house and someone was holding it shut. Officers responded and the suspect was arrested. Victims identified the defendant as the suspect they encountered at their residences.

Prosecutors requested a $75,000 bond.
