Kansas City Autonomous Cars Coming Soon

Another reminder that new transit tech is developing faster than the stalled toy train extension. Take a look at a new tech option that doesn't involve sitting next to hobos or city hall marketing tie-ins . . . Tech leaders: KC is built to be a hub for driverless cars

My guess is that local government will not let this occur without a rather steep "fee" attached to each driverless car. After all, all of the revenue collected by the traffic division of the KCPD will have to be replaced somehow.

This should be a great test of how well driverless cars can avoid potholes, steel plates, flooded streets, and other phenomenon more often associated with driving in Third World countries.
Should be a gold mine for auto repair shops.
Frosty.

Another reminder that Tony is still pissed off that he couldn't stop the streetcar starter line and won't be able to stop the expansion despite being a local "influencer". Keep posting the titty pics though.

^^^ What about that losing vote in 2014 where KC rejected the streetcar?

Why can't we put it to a city wide vote?

The way to by pass the citys TAX on a driverless car system is for each car to be "owned" by a person who lets it drive itself around town all day long. How about an investment with some type of dividend paid to "owners". Good by TOOT TOOT.
