Former councilman Sharp said he heard 6 or 8 shots fired. He said one hit his garage door and another hit the back window of his car . . . Sharp's neighbor said her car and home were also shot up.

How many innocent women, children and even infants have to be killed in Kansas City drive by shootings before we demand effective measures to stop them? A mother reported her sleeping son was almost shot in his bedroom by this one. Drive by shooters are cowardly scum, and we should never excuse their actions.
