FIGHT FOR $15: STAND UP KC SEYZ THEY'LL SHUT DOWN MISSOURI VETO SESSION!!!

Kansas City advocates for a $15 minimum wage call their crusade a "moral revival" and this morning they're starting their journey to Jeff City, MO in solidarity with worker protest in state capitols across the nation.

Remember that Missouri law, now challenged, claiming that municipalities cannot raise the minimum wage without consent from State lawmakers is what defeated this crew and their local ordinance.

Here's the word today:

Standup KC: "Jefferson City, we're coming to breath some new (much needed) life into the Missouri state motto, "Let the welfare of the people be the supreme law."

  1. Shorten it to "Let welfare be the supreme law".

  2. So how long will it be before the libtards decide that everyone with a 10th grade education can be president, play in the NFL or direct a major corporation? People land where they land for mostly good reason. If you want a decent paying job then do what everyone else in civil society does. Get educated, get skills and be a valued employee. Keep thinking the world owes you something becasue you need it and kiss your $15 and your ass goodbye.

  3. there are solutions, but a higher minimum wage isn't one.

    the protesters are economically ignorant.

  4. Want to see those who are worth $15 per hour. Go to Costco or QT. Want to see those who are not. Go to Wal Mart.
