Dead Tree Media Desperately Touts Johnson County Revolution Against Gov. Brownback!!!

Here's a quick look at Kansas City's daily newspaper waging their last battle for influence in Johnson County politics among retirees who mostly vote Republican.

Take a peek at double tap links and remember that sales, viewership and or even accurately representing the public trust stopped meaning anything to this newspaper a long time ago:

  1. Don't be so sure, Brownback and his sycophants have been relentlessly fucking with the golden goose of Johnson County: education. Johnson County exists solely because of its schools. Good schools are directly tied to our high home values. I hope to hell all of Brownback's cronies are voted out come November. I work for a large company in the construction industry that is directly negatively affected by KDOT being robbed by Brownback. Last election cycle I saw Yoder meeting with the extremely wealthy owners of my company and I imagine they contributed to his campaign. I haven't seen Yoder this election. I'm betting the owners of my company told him to piss up a rope.this time.

  3. The Star's obsession with Brownback is getting to be very very creepy. Abouhalkah in particular is now pretty much just a stalker. Any private citizen with this level of monomania would be taken into custody and forced to submit to a psychiatric evaluation. Don't let any of them get close to a firearm.

  4. I always do the opposite of what the KC Star and Steve Rose recommend. Their editorial policies were the same even when Rose was not employed there. This "Its all Brownback's fault" excuse does not pass the smell test. We have been dealing with and arguing about the school equalization ruling by the Kansas Supreme Court since 1992. Every school board meeting some sweet young things stands up and complains that we need to raise more taxes for our schools. Nobody would object. The problem is that the money we raise does not stay here. It goes to Topeka to be distributed "equally" to all the districts in Kansas. Want an advanced robotics class at SM West? Sorry, unless you pay for one for every other Kansas school district you can't have it. How about an elementary Spanish class or advanced math class at Olathe East. IMPOSSIBLE! Kansas is unique because just a few states provide for a regular election of judges. We have an opportunity to vote to retain or kick out 5 of our 7 Supreme Court justices. If you don't like the school equalization, vote no for 4 of the five. Vote to keep Caleb Segall. On the Court of Appeals, there are 6 justices we need to vote on. Vote to keep David Bruns and Kathryn Carter. Say no to the other four. If you are interested in more info, go to the website www.betterjudgesforks.org.

  5. ^^^ Hey Dave Trabert, nice to see you're hanging out on TKC. Got bad news for you, those judges are going to be retained except for Stegall. Those judges are the only thing standing between vouchers and everything else you Flat Earth Society people are after. Everyone sees through your bullshit and November is going to be a bloodbath, not in your favor either. Brownback is a complete disaster and everyone knows it. Everything he has touched has turned to shit. Come November he's going to get neutered. You should move to Mississippi or West Virginia, I think you'd like it there.

  6. Cruz got 42% of the cd's republican caucus vote and Rubio got a good slice as number two.

It's hard to see the never Trumpers for Cruz or Rubio doing a 180 and voting against Yoder down ticket in a general election.

If anythng, voters might be more inclined to stay with Yoder if they actually don't vote Trump.

Was Rose filling in because one of the Brownback columnists is on vacation?

Surprised to see such an unrealistic assessment from him. Hope he doesn't drink any more kool-aid down there or he could become a zombie, too.

  7. I have never seen Yael even attempt to explain how higher taxes would have helped the economy. Lower real estate prices, ag prices, and oil prices really fucked over the KS economy. If not for Brownbacks tax cuts it would have been worse. Fuck RINO Rose.

  8. Kansas has become a complete economic wasteland except for Johnson County. That's why political maneuvering focuses on Joco. Still has lots of high incomes and most of the residents still have indoor toilets. And Leawood is full of skinny young blonde bitches who can suck the chrome off a trailer hitch if you offer them a ride in your Porsche.

This is what heaven looks like to political consultants.
