ReplyDeleteFuck you Tony!!!! Law enforcement had nothing to do with the Jackson County crap. Those employees aren't employed or controlled by the sheriff's department. They are poorly paid, poorly vetted, poorly supervised civilians. Frank White, Sly James, city council and JaCo legislature should all be fired for creating an entity that failed to protect people in custody.

ReplyDelete1:17 is right. The current director of corrections (the jail) is a has been former chief of police of Lee's Summit. He was asked to leave the city and as Mike Sanders was his buddy, hence the new job at the county. Mike Sharp has nothing to do with running the jail. The County Charter gives that job to the county executive. Frank White is a decent man with good intentions. When he finally figures out to get his own people and stop listening to the legislature who want to protect their friends. (And Sanders who thinks he still runs the county) than true reform can happen and King Skippy goes packing to oblivion. Frank it is time to clean house and get people loyal to you if you don't than blame yourself when you get an opponent!!
