Whilst Brit MSM hottie Kelly Brook sopping wet is a nice thought . . . The prospect of more flooding on local streets is a far more sinister symptom of ongoing Kansas City deferred maintenance neglect of our storm sewer system.
Take a look:
KMBC: Flooding concerns grow as storms swat Kansas City region
KCTV5: Weather brings tornado warnings, but little damage reported in metro
KSHB Reminds Us About The Busted Grid As Well: Powerful storms moved across the Kansas City metro on Wednesday night into Thursday morning, leaving many without power.
Fox4KC: Straight line winds knock down at least 19 power poles in Olathe
Be careful out there.
Developing . . .
Tracy Thomas and KCTV5 I am sure will launch a huge investigative report into this straight line wind theory. I am sure they will come back with something like too many birds sitting on the power lines caused all those poles to fall over. No, wait, they will blame it on Mackey's cows rubbing against the poles.
ReplyDeleteEvery time it rains, Kansas City is flooded. Life is so hard when you live in a slum.
