TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! WESTPORT SERIAL CROOK SUSPECT COMMITS SUICIDE AMID KANSAS CITY POLICE STANDOFF!!!
Latest breaking news on a police standoff today . . . Here's the report . . .
"At approximately 4:45pm officers attempted to arrest an adult male with a felony warrant in the 900 block of West 42nd Street. The suspect fled to the attic of the residence and is refusing to surrender. Negotiators were called to the scene . . . At approximately 8:05pm the suspect was located in the attic with no signs of life. It appears he committed suicide. He was being sought for a Macon County felony drug warrant along with numerous burglaries and armed robberies in the midtown area . . ."
And so the crackdown on Midtown crime in Kansas City continues as the area has been inundated with desperate and dangerous people as of late.
Meanwhile . . . Another Kansas City Police Department Operation 100 is underway as officers pursued armed robbery suspects to a residence in the 7100 block of Bales.

Update on one standoff . . .
At approximately 1:45am, the two male suspects were taken in to custody inside the residence. The suspects are facing charges for stolen auto, felony eluding and numerous robbery charges.
