TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! FUNERAL FRIDAY TRAGIC AFTERMATH: NOMINATE WINNERS & LOSERS OF SLAUGHTERHOUSE SCHLITTERBAHN VERRÜCKT DECAPITATION BLAME GAME!!!

Today a child is laid to rest after he was tragically killed at a local water park . Sadly, there are mixed messages about the services that call not only for respect but also feature a livestream on the Internets.

In all of this confusion, the only thing Kansas City can do is play the blame game once again.

To wit . . .

IN THE AFTERMATH OF DECAPITATION TESTIMONY OUR TKC BLOG COMMUNITY MUST DECIDE WHO DESERVES THE BLAME IN THE AFTERMATH OF DECAPITATION TRAGEDY REPORTS!!!

Like it or not this is the only place where the public can have this important discussion which hopes to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Now, pick the winners/losers . . .

Should Schlitterbahn Designers Take The Blame For The Deadly Tragedy???

Turns out the world's tallest water slide wasn't so much an engineering marvel as a deadly accident waiting to happen for an unlucky youngster . . . There was always a debate about the height of this slide and now "victory" is written in blood.

Will Broke-Ass Water Park Workers Take The Heat For This Tragedy???

This one is unfair but the rhetoric castigating lowly employees is circulating . . . Reality Check . . . The low wage worker in charge of making "you must be this tall to ride" estimations shouldn't be saddled with life and death decisions.

Progressives Claim Gov. Brownback Is To Blame For Water Park Beheading Reports

Remember, it's election season an almost anything goes . . .

Did Gov. Brownback's Lax Regulation Oversight Lead To Tragic Waterslide Death?

To his credit and far too late to do much good, Gov. Brownback wants to examine safety procedures at amusement parks in Kansas. Still, we're focused on the future and this safety check will prevent just a bit of tragedy in the coming days of a Hillary Clinton presidency.

There's more than enough blame to pass around and I think that's the point. But in the end the blame game doesn't work because there's still a horrible death on the record here.

Anonymous said...

Blaming people never solves anything.

But the lawyers are going to have a field day with this one.

No doubt.

I understand the need for privacy and respect. So why run a high speed live stream broadcast during the service?

All of this sucks but it's typical what is not acceptable is the PR firms attempting to blame the kid for his death. That's what needs to stop NOW!

Schlitterbahn is a terrific example of why regulations are needed, despite what complete shitheads like Sam Brownback and Kris Kobach say. This is also the type of accident - more complete incompetence - that has all the elements needed to make sure a number of people follow it for years to come, and interest in it will grow and keep growing. It's unreasonable to assume that slide will ever open again after the events of Sunday.

Here's another example of why regulations are a good thing. Here's a guy who dealt with the band, Great White, in 2003. Their next show would not have the requirement of making sure regulations were followed. The Providence Fire Marshall had also been accepting bribes from club owners to overlook problems. Here's his story of dealing with Great White the night before:

Well guys, I'm a pyrotech. I have 2 rules. Rule #1 No one is allowed to get hurt on my shoot. Rule #2 Any questions revert back to rule #1.
I do indoor shoots. Lots of them, or at least I used to.

Great White tried to pull that shit off at a club here in Atlanta the night before. I got a call from the staff and went by to take a look see.
They had already wired it up and were ready to shoot without the permission of the club. They didn't say shit to management.
They were breaking all the rules.
1. Ceiling was too low from emission point, hot fallout would be deflected to persons in the front row.
2. Stage was carpeted (fuel)
3. Patrons were too close to emission point. (clothes are fuel)
4. No permit. No Fire Marshall to OK the shoot and be present during shoot.
5. No test fire was done.
6. Lack of extinguishers.

Needless to say we yanked it all down right before the show started and I kept the gerbs and the fire control box. I gave the FC back after the show but kept the gerbs I had stashed in an ammo box in my trunk. I still have them in the same box.

The band and their manager as well as the management of the Station were at fault. They broke every rule and a lot of people paid the price with their lives. It made me sick. By 5am the night of the fire I had messages on my cell. (bad news travels fast in our biz) The next day I had pictures of the carnage.
This could have been my clients club had I've not not gone nuts yelling "Not no, but Hell no!" and had the gear ripped down and confiscated. The band was pissed and threatening me (the 1911 badge on my side was concealed) I just told them they better chill or I'd hand the pyro over to the cop at the door and they could explain it all to the judge. So much for that. The show went on, they got paid and left town.
Fuck those guys, every one of them.

*First guy who says cool story bro can kiss my ass!

30 seconds after the effects were lit, the ceiling was on fire. Within 90 seconds the entire structure was engulfed in flames. Anyone still inside - and there were close to 500 people in a smallish club - after two minutes was almost certainly dead.

In the end, 89 people burned and suffocated to death in the flames of the building, 7 more would die outside in the parking lot, and 4 more at the hospital. All avoidable.

Just like what happened to Caleb Schwab, if the Legislature and asshole Governor Sam Brownback gave one shit about their constituents, or the owner / operators of Schlitterbahn hadn't built an unregulated death trap, and then proceeded to use fucking Velcro to hold people in while plummeting downward at close to 70 miles per hour.

Okay the photo to go with Schlitterbahn was fucking funny. One laugh for you today, Tk.

You fucking morons stop feeding Tony's attempt to milk this tragedy to death. What the fuck is wrong with ya.

Anonymous said...

You can bet r/watchpeopledie would love to have the video. It's exactly what it sounds like. A sub Reddit of videos of people being killed. Mostly security cam, dash cam, executions released for political purposes, etc. Accidents, shootings, pretty much everything. Very strange.

Anonymous said...

The blame goes to the geniuses who designed this POS,also I put more blame on the cowardly fucks who rode this death-slide .had near death experiences on it and didn't care enough to MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that the higher-ups were notified about a tragedy that was INEVITABILITY going to happen

I think that speaks volumes about people.these days..no moral fiber,DEEP character flaws,no regard for other human beings..just worthless mother fuckers, who care about no one or anything, but themselves..

This proved to me its not just black folk who have a fucked up culture,as I said in another thread,today..White people are deeply fucked up too.bunch of goddamn, self absorbed me me me me,all about me pussies...fucked email all.there is no real men anymore,..people make me sick.

Our best and brightest, like little Caleb, are routinely killed or left to fend for themselves, when US grownups are supposed to watch over them and take care of them.

This generation of"adults" fail there basic responsibility, routinely.
They are worthless,no good pussies.I hate em all

I nominate Tony Botello as the biggest loser in all this.

We all think you can't sink any lower but aren't surprised anymore when you manage to.

Anonymous said...

the BIG winners in this tragedy will be Democrat greedy weasel trial lawyers--

scamming yuuge $$ for anybody in the park, or sez they were -- for all that ..err..y' know -- trauma.. and stuff --

and taking 1/3 & expenses off the scam .

As opposed to Republicans who'd only wished they'd been informed of the beheading ahead of time so they could set up a pay for view and install luxury box office seats and stadium seating.

I nominate Tony as the Grade A, First Class Loser for using a poor child's death as grist for his sick disgusting mill.

Truth 327. Using a tragedy like this to fulfill Tony's need for attention is beyond vile.

But for Tony, really not unexpected.

Tony Botello, obviously.

Anytime I think of Kansas City and Loser I think of Tony Botello. So the choice is obvious.

You lose, Tony.

Mr. T. Botello loses big-time, I'd have to agree with the consensus.

Anonymous said...

This will be the first time i've agreed with a statement made by Tony 100% "The low wage worker in charge of making "you must be this tall to ride" estimations shouldn't be saddled with life and death decisions." Truth!

Anonymous said...

Loser? Tony Botello.

Ain't no doubt is there.

Bob said...

Let's just issue every person a bureaucrat to be with them constantly and regulate everything they do. Then we'll all live forever.

2:37, do you have any verifiable information that the ride was completely "unregulated" and a cogent argument that but for the lack of regulation the accident would not have happened? Specifically what regulation by which state agency should have been in place in your opinion?

Anonymous said...

There is no regulation in KS.

Anonymous said...

Hitler did it.
I mean Hillary.

Anonymous said...

What a question. All one need do is come to the very logical conclusion oversight and approval was lax or completely nonexistent in building the structure, testing was not adequate, it seemed to consist mainly of one owner / operator who had been pushing the envelope all his life always looking for the next challenge going too far, and the absolutely boneheaded decision to use Velcro as a safety mechanism, a material known too fail when wet and also with repeated usage. Any minimal oversight would very likely have led to modifications and changes required to increase safety.

Anonymous said...

Winners:

The local media. They got a week or maybe more of out this story.
Oceans of Fun. They can say they are the safer water park.

Losers:
SCHLITTERBAHN
KCK
Tom Beka
Progressives
Minimum Wage workers.

Why they spell it kansA$$?

It is sad. You go to a park, expecting to have a nice day, and literally the most remote imaginable thing happens... Your child is killed. I am not religious at all, but I am compassionate. And it's sad. It's not part of "His plan" or anything noble. It's just an unspeakably sad event. I wouldn't wish anyone to have to suffer like this. Especially the siblings, if there are any. Adults struggle to make sense of this, but kids really have no concept.

Tony making fun of the whole thing with pictures of Hitler and his generals planning strategy.

Tony is truly Mexican shit.

2:37 good info. I work in a heavily regulated industry and we need it. It costs us millions of dollars a year but without some would pollute the living shit out of our air and water. We produce Mercury as a by-product so we could really do damage, not too mention the other stuff we produce that could pollute as well. Look at OSHA. George W. Bush made them a toothless entity that screws employees and heavily favors corporations.

ill be one happy guy when the death-slide is torn down, the park closes, due to the shitheads who designed this POS being completly broke and certain people are imprisoned ,at the very least.

plus i would think the good people of KCK wouldn't wanna see ,much less,go to that nightmare, ever again

TEAR IT DOWN!!!!!

Oh they'll keep going there would probably be a huge line if the slide were to reopen. But as its been proven dangerous and many serious issues are now being reported which were previously ignored when reported by patrons of the slide, it can't reopen. If they chopped it down say to 120 feet plus changed the angle so a vertical drop wouldn't go down at such an almost vertical angle, the drop would be more horizontal than previous dropsin other words, if it became a fairly standard amusement park waterslide. They also have to get rid of the Velcro for more traditional restraints.

By that time, numerous lawsuits will be well under way, and it's very unlikely the same owners, who were already having extreme difficulty in Texas, paying vendors on time, will be solvent enough to keep control of the park. They're going to be paying out a lot of money, and they'll want to try to keep their asses out of prison at the same time as discovery uncovers Christ knows what. But whatever it is will likely be damnimg, especially by the time experts make their case for plaintiffs.

I blame complacency!!

Design engineers fault = NO

Schlitterbahn corporate fault = NO; but of course ultimately the buck stops there.

Verruckt ride supervisor's fault = partial; You're responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed and ride attendants are trained and following protocol. Apparently there were multiple prior reports of safety harness faults and rafts going airborne.

Verruckt ride attendants fault = partial; From what I've read, the boy was seated in the front (of 3 seats) and there may have been a question of insufficient weight in the raft.

Child's parent = partial; ultimately the parent is responsible for supervising their child and keeping them clear of possible dangerous situations. Also, this was an Elected Official freebie day, which never should have been taking place.

All this talk and not a one knows shit at this point. Fucking Genius. This kind of mass bullshit trance was only outdone in Ferguson. Must be the Misswhorah water.

Anonymous said...

It mostly is the design engineers / owner / operators fault. Especially if some of what's been mentioned, as in not following or heeding input from professional safety engineers, or even bothering to hire some, is true. There are also numerous videos of him riding and developing the slide. In one, he's even wearing cowboy boots so if he dies, it will be with his boots on. That's very problematic for him, as well as the claim the slide is "safe dangerous". Nope, straight out dangerous and only a matter of time until people are maimed or killed. Combine that with repeated warnings Velcro straps were coming off, there are even photos where people have no Velcro on them at all at the end of the ride, and he's very badly fucked.

Anonymous said...

Quit the bullshit hero warship of veterans. It's tiresome.

Anonymous said...

yes he is fucked ..i just cant understand how other idiots who rode it and had their velcro come un done ,or straps completly come off, and had to hang on ,with all their strength to not shoot off it like Caleb did...cant understand how they didnt tell anyone.some did but were played off.why in the fuck would they not make sure that NO ONE RODE IT AGAIN, after nearly being killed ,themselves..????

i blame these fucks just as much as bad designers, crooked inspectors and improper seating arrangement by employees.

for fuck sake .if you couldn't get anyone to listen to you, call channel 5,or even the police.do whatever it takes.refuse to get out of the fuckin raft

EPIC FAIL ,BY PUSSY ASS ,NO GOOD HONKY LIPPS,MOTHER FUCKERS!!

THEY SHOULD BE JAILED TOO!! WIMPY ,YELLOW ,NO GOOD FOR NOTHING WHITE SLOBS

Anonymous said...

Yeah, 10:45, there shoulda been bullhorns, tents, hunger strikes and shoving while shouting "get some muscle over here!". Silly ol' politey whitey trusted a calm reporting of malfunctioning harnesses would be heeded.

You're not far off. After all, you live in a state where by all rights and common sense, someone should take it upon themselves to assassinate Sam Brownback, the same being true of a number of other Governors, such as Rick Snyder of Michigan who actually poisoned the water supply of a major city trying to save a few bucks while setting up a scheme whereby the water would be sold off to corporate interests for profit. Part of his bullshit emergency city managers scheme, where he appointed people who could run roughshod over elected city officials, with no restrictions on power or oversight. Had the person who then managed the takeover of the Flint water supply added chemicals costing less than one hundred dollars per day to the city water supply after the switch it would have been relatively safe. But in the interest of being a skinflint while setting up a plan to rob citizens of municipal control of their water supply, he didn't. Complacency leads to these types of events and Sam Brownback is just as bad, if not worse, than Ric Scott, Greg Abbott, and a handful of others who don't give one shit about their constituents.

In a taped interview for television, the creator of Verruckt water slide made the statement of no longer being an engineer, but an actor, then stating not being as good an actor as Sam Brownback. Made in jest, but probably a Freudian slip that obscured the fact both of them knew there were problems with the slide that weren't part of the official story.

Whoa, 9:10, advocating violent acts is extreme. So, if it was really meant as an emotional call for justice, then we'll accept a Trump styled "it was sarcasm", of course.

9:10 - you're a delusional Far Left nut job. Your comments about Ric Snyder are total lies. The problems with the Flint water supply are totally the responsibility of the corrupt local black officials, not Snyder.

Judging by your wild bombast about Republican governors in general, you sound like a Soros-funded thug. But unlike the political rallies where you try intimidating attendees, you'll get a much different response if you attack a governor. Namely, either they or their security detail (or a CCW permit holder like me) will put a bullet between your eyes.

Anonymous said...

And you're an ignorant piece of shit. Not lies, you fucking shitbag, but the goddamned truth. Something you've never known in your life. Furthermore, people will do what they want and the types of people that would actually take the nuclear option don't read blogs like this, telegraph their intentions in any way, or care that someone else suggested anything. They just do it. Plenty of people in both Flint and Kansas have many reasons to, as well as many other states. You piece of fucking garbage.

^^^^ Stop attacking people you fucking cunt. We'll get your IP and track your punk as down in a New York minute you punk somebitch.

Go fuck yourself you racist piece of shit. Like I care about your peabrain addled attenpts or racist views or threats on anything you cocksucking sack of shit. By the way, nothing I posted constituted a legal threat against the sack of shit Governor. There is no direct threat from me, no plan, and no clear intent on my part. If that type of thing were illegal, then Bill O'Reilly would be sitting in prison right now for the numerous times he wished ill will on Dr. George Tiller, when somebody actually followed through and killed him.
