TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SUNFLOWER STATE POLITICOS CALLING KANSAS CITY NEWSIES AND CUTTING OFF PAINFUL QUESTIONS ABOUT EYEWITNESS REPORTS OF DECAPITATION AMID SCHLITTERBAHN VERRÜCKT TRAGEDY!!!

The aftermath of a local waterside tragedy has seen an unprecedented crackdown on information and some controversial political influence exercised over Kansas City media.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY NEWSIES ARE MOSTLY REPORTING STORIES ABOUT HUGS AND SENTIMENTAL TRIBUTE AMID A CRACKDOWN ON DEETS SUPPORTED BY SOME LOCAL POLITICOS BEHIND THE SCENES!!!

Here's the word one of our newsies friends confirmed by most of the reporting on this one that doesn't seem to satisfy the inquiring minds of the public that's already asking for autopsy deets in order to protect the safety amid the opening of the park . . .

"It's a lockdown and the Unified Government has already starting fighting with one another over this . . . They're trying not to return calls to TV and when they do it's pretty obvious that they've been on the phone to corporate advisers. The story that's already being killed is the $225 million in STAR bonds for development of the Schlitterbahn project . . . It looks like mostly vigil stuff for tonight despite a lot of info that we're getting from patrons of the park talking about their close calls."

And so, here's the best reporting that we're pulling out in the aftermath of this tragedy where information has suddenly become scarce. Checkit:

KCTV5: Police: Nothing criminal suspected in boy's waterslide death

KCUR: Schlitterbahn Has Been Sued At Least Three Times For Negligence Since 2014

Fox4: Schlitterbahn tentatively scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, Verrückt remains closed

KCTV5: Couple offers small gesture of humanity to family after son's death at Schlitterbahn

KMBC: How to help family of 10-year-old killed on 'Wold's Tallest Waterslide'

WDAF: Community wishes to ease pain for family of Caleb Schwab, 10, killed at Schlitterbahn Waterpark

Channel9: Few details released in child's death on "World's Tallest Water Slide"

Newspaper: Video: What it's like to ride the Verruckt waterslide

Don't discount the vigil stories. It is important for the community to come together and heal after a story that's so devastating and scary.

I liked the report about the hug.

Balloons, teddy bears, cardboard signs, candle light vigils, family is our thoughts are all welcomed and as always help address the problem.

^^^ Absolutely agree. that's the way it is everywhere around Kansas City. We just want to be agreeable instead of helpful.

The problem with blacks? that problem?

I pray for them to go back to Africa but very few do. I don't think prayer works.

We don't do waterparks. Never even considered it. We have something better. A cool, clear creek with several ropes tied way up high in the oak trees. Homemade picnic tables and two grills. The forth generation of us is now enjoying the place.

The only negro that's ever been anywhere near this creek was there only to pick my Great Granddad's cotton.

If you think the water park is a bitch just check out some of the shit that gets swept at your local hospitals. Funny how no one complains when they bill the patient $20K to pump you full of antibiotics to protect you from the MERSA you can only get from that fucking hospital. Funny how we pick and choose what should be stopped and what shouldn,t. The sheep factor is alive and well.

KC is dangerous. Don't leave the basement.

Because there's no crime or danger at all! Whee!

I always thought the name was stupid. Name it something people can pronounce, particularly those that pretend to work there.

^^^^ Now that is wisdom, a silly place and a dumb name. Dangerous too.
