TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY VETERANS BESEECH LOCAL FOOTBALL FANS TO STOP DESECRATING NATIONAL ANTHEM WITH 'HOME OF THE CHIEFS' LINE AMID NFL STAR SPANGLED BANNER SIT DOWN CONTROVERSY!!!

Kansas City Chiefs fans who cast aspersions upon 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for sitting down during the national anthem need to look no further than Arrowhead Stadium for an equally controversial and disrespectful treatment of the Star Spangled Banner according to some local veterans.

Let's not forget that the hometown crowd at Arrowhead has changed the ending line of the national anthem and added "Home Of The Chiefs" in a newish tradition that started sometimes around the 90s in Kansas City and has consistently earned rebuke from local patriots.

Accordingly . . .

First on TKC: Kansas City veterans groups plan to use this opportunity to implore football fans to stop changing the national anthem end line to "Home Of The Chiefs" and give the song the respect it deserves if they truly oppose Kaepernick's sit down protest.

To wit . . .

MORE TO THE POINT: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS ARE CALLED OUT AS HYPOCRITES DURING THIS NFL CONTROVERSY FOR THEIR SIMILAR NATIONAL ANTHEM DISRESPECT!!!

Here's the word . . .

"If we're going to talk about patriotism and showing respect, let's start in our own city and in our own house. Every time we hear "home of the Chiefs" our national anthem is being destroyed and our veterans are slapped in the face by fans who put football before their country. If this is a moment when Kansas City is going to stand up for the national anthem, let's also end the disrespect at Arrowhead instead of just jumping on the bandwagon."

The local veteran leader said: "In my opinion, Kansas City football fans who sing 'home of the Chiefs' have no moral credibility when they criticize Kaepernick's disgusting actions and statements . . ."

And here's where it gets worse . . .

Don't forget the sordid subject of so-called "paid patriotism" that lingers behind the scenes of this controversy . . . NFL to return $724,000 that taxpayers spent on patriotic tributes

What started as a rumor is now taking hold as news fact . . . There's a growing movement in Kansas City and throughout the nation to stop singing the controversial anthem before football games in order to avert further controversy from left and right. We'll have more on that later but for now, check the links from both sides of this issue as TKC is the FIRST to bring this news home locally . . .

  1. Arrowhead is a filthy place.

You can get killed in the parking lot and the fans don't care about anything but themselves.

Why to the taxpayers fund this bloodsport?

  2. Of course Chiefs fans are hypocrites.

How else can you explain the career of Alex Smith?

  3. Bravo to this proud veteran. I look forward to this group standing up to football fans and using this opportunity to create a positive change. I think this is the perfect time to end "home of the Chiefs" it's stupid and childish. And any decent vet will tell you it's disrespectful.

  9. Oh lighten up. The tune was originally a British drinking song, "To Anacreon in Heaven." To sing it requires a great vocal range, so I wonder how a bunch of drunken Brits managed it; probably not very well. It only became America's official national anthem in 1931. (And why must we have a national anthem anyway? Do we have a national limerick?) The lyrics, a poem by Francis Scott Key, are quite moving, commemorating the valor of Americans in defense of Baltimore during the War of 1812. They deserve better music than they got.

  10. Oh egads, look who is ruining the country again - the subhuman negroid offshoot. That's a surprise.

Boy it just doesn't stop does it? Now the national anthem is racist.

    It's not. But if it were I think it would go;

    Oh says can you see
    Where my EBT?
    My niglets be fat,
    So yeah, GIBS ME DAT!!!

  11. ^^^ Thanks for repeating what we all already knew. What do you propose to replace singing the Star-Spangled Banner? A different song? A moment of silence? Whacking off in unison?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Just as insulting is the fireworks. Do we really need to see "the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air", so people can uuh and aah and cheer in the middle of the song?

  14. First off Tony it would be nice to talk to ALL these veterans you are claiming as I am a veteran and see no less than a thousand veterans per week. Not a fucking one of them has mentioned problems with the Chiefs fans and their thing with the national anthem. I have heard many of then talk about how the government has forced the removal of "in god we trust", "one nation under God" and other modifications made that have nothing to do with fans. I have also heard plenty of comments about having a queer Secretaty of the Army and men being forced to fight and live with queers in todays military environment.

I am kind of suspecting this bullshit is more hype and horseshit that is more manufactured than fact from the decapitation king himself, Mr. T-Bone Buttholio, than about more than a handful of grunting and groaning veterans.

Most of the vets I know are more pissed off about budget cuts in benefits they rightfully earned and betrayal by their own government than some silly rendition by sports fans. After all they were willing to put it all on the line while the low lifes in the entitled, mooching, thug culture continue to reap the benefits of being little more than slugs and pawns in the libtard political game.

I challenge you to back up your statements with more than a couple of your buds to validate your claims.

  15. I never liked, "Home of the Chiefs." Not because of patriotism, but it just seems embarrassing seeing grown men doing it. It's the most high school, glory days loser thing you can do. It's like seeing guys in their mid-20s still wearing their lettermen jackets.

This city in the mid-90's collectively asked it self, "What can we do to make ourselves look like the biggest rubes in the NFL? Wait...I got it...replace Brave with Chiefs during the national anthem!"

    Not all veterans are jingoists.

Some of us are ashamed of America's War on People of Color (which is the real reason we are waging war on the poor.) See the Governor of Maine's comments about how people of color are the enemy.

Our veterans DID NOT fight for our freedom. They fought for Corporate America.

    "Controversial " national anthem?
Here we have an entire generation raised to see only the bad about they're country and not the good. If this was 1916 I would say he has a point. But it's not
He says black people are "oppressed "
No, they are being held back by the constant drumbeat from the political left that tells them they are still slaves and don't have any rights
Never being told that they can make it in this country if they only would open they're eyes and see the real country, one with problems, yes. But more so a country that gives anyone a chance to better than any other country.
I suppose all the illegal aliens and millions of legal imagrants risked everything they had just so they could come here and be "oppressed"
It's pretty sad when people born here hold themselves back because they have been trained to stay down and out of the country that is they're own

  24. This story is just Tony manufacturing bullshit for hits. Its the end of the month again.

Given RoseAnn Bar, Jimi Hendrix and all of the celebrities that have blown or hacked up the national anthem, knowing in advance they would be presenting it, this is small taters. As for the whats-his-face 49er? Who cares. If the chucker wants to play the football version of Kanye West or Buckwheat or whoever, who cares. It isn't like the rubber lipped amoeba brained fucktard has contributed shit to society in all his glory. Fuck the future head injury candidate. Some guy in a bar will clock his punk ass pretty soon and the earth will continue to spin.

    Your logic seems...

    ...flawed.

Also great comments, Tony. You're just a great human being.

  26. As a veteran, there are things that are much more offensive to me and my service than Colin sitting down or Chiefs fans yelling "Home of the Chiefs". I can assure you most do not care. Only people who pick & choose when to wrap themselves in the flag care, because it makes them feel right since they haven't sacrificed anything themselves.

Folks only care about us when singing a song but not when we are actually serving/after we have served. You all can suck our dicks.

  33. While Colin Kaepernick isn't winning any friends by doing what he did, he as well didn't break any laws per say.

The US Code 36, Chapter 3, Sec 301, states the rules during a rendition of the anthem, while also states this is a statutory suggestion and there are no penalties associated with any violations.

But IMHO Colin is being a dick and the 49ers should unload his ass fast. But since he is black, I doubt much will be done about it.

There have been many adaptions and interpretations of the anthem over the years by many different people and artists. Is what the Chiefs do considered correct? It is the Home of the Chiefs when they are in Arrowhead Stadium. So if all the knuckleheads that pay insane costs to stand there and scream Home of the Chiefs, I say let them continue to make fools of themselves.

This city is in chaos and looking to implode from crime and over taxation, and this is all a few can find to whine about? Some sure have some mixed up priorities. If you local vets want to be mad about how things are being done may I suggest getting angry at fools like Chief Forte, who is allowing crime to take over the city you vets feel you fought to protect.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 11:09 The Battle hymn of the Republic is actually a Union (Northern) song.

Surely there is a way to get the fuck away from their nemeses asses.

  36. I love "Home of the Chiefs".
I sing it in my kitchen, watching the games, since I'm not gonna pay $40 to park. I need instant replay and the imaginary yellow lines, anyway.

My Dad fought on Iwo Jima. He was not offended by our family singing Home of the Chiefs. The only reason "brave" is in the song is because it rhymes with wave.

I did NOT sing Chiefs when I sang along during the Olympics as so many of our athletes received their gold medals. It's a football game tradition--one of the pursuits of happiness guaranteed us in the First Amendment. Haters--get over yourselves. Go fix some real problems...

  40. My Grandfather was a Marine in WWI. Mustard gassed and machine-gunned in the guts in Belleau Wood. I don't know what he would have thought. My Father was at Pearl Harbor Dec 7th 1941. He went on to fight at Midway, Coral Sea, Savo Islands, Leyte Gulf and others. I served from 1969 to 1973.

My Father is gone, but I don't think he would have minded. I don't. My father, after surviving from 1937 to 1945 in almost constant conflict and fear of death, was able to look at the big picture and not get to worked up about the small stuff. Those WWII vets I knew, were really grateful for very small lives and so many things, we all take for granted.

Colin Kapernick is just another brain dead jock, whose graduation from an institution of higher learning, has zero to do, with his erudition. Spoon fed the usual lies and bullshit about "Racism", he is a garden variety Social Justice Warrior, by way of his declining skills, not a sudden fall of his horse outside of Damascus.

His is the quintessential "Virtue Signaling" scream for attention that is boilerplate amongst the less famous SJWs.

He should save his money, or, better yet, donate it all to Freedom Incorporated. Put his money where his mouth is. I am sure, they will spend it wisely.

Same ass holes that can't wait to go kick some ass somewhere in the world and then set on their fat asses and bitch ans moan when the true cost of the fighting machine comes back to kick them in the ass.

Frankly, if you are one who has never served you are also one who will never grasp the value of freedom or human life. You have lived in a world that is all about you and it is doubtful you will ever grasp the notion that there are men out there who actually accepted the idea that if they are asked to give the ultimate they will or would have. I really don't know what it is like not to be a vet because I really believe that those who have not served are the same ass holes always looking for a free ride. You just can not grasp or ever know the measure of accomplishment beyond what you ever thought was humanly possible.

Hate all you want, but the vets know you really aren't shit. Rather than make the grade you talk out your ass about that you don't even comprehend. All I can say is stay out of my face and go fuck yourselves. You haven't shown the world jack shit and every vet knows it.
