Our blog community is taking special note of teasers from KCTV5 touting their Slaughterhouse Schlitterbahn engineering conference TONIGHT and a claim that a great many smart people knew this tragedy kind of tragedy would someday unfold.

Awards are presented to news organizations, not individuals. So her team maybe won something she didn't as a solo investigator, so maybe someone should investigate her. Her years on the job are rather short.

The other so called expert KCTV5 showed but made sure you wasn't for sure who they were.
So KVTV5 is making you think they are really reporting something and are only seeking out more viewers for that time spot. You noticed neither one of these expert clowns was a real expert from any reputable company or society.
There are no real reporters left in Kansas City anymore, just MEME reporters and MEME's seeking attention for their hair brain so called thoughts.

Rincono's 6pm and especially her 10pm story on KCTV5 was excellent reporting. It revealed that a licensed engineer not only phoned Schlitterbahn, he SENT THEM A LETTER, informing them their design was unsafe. Ouch! That is called EVIDENCE OF NEGLIGENT DESIGN.
And Stan Demster volunteered to tell them, at no charge, what was wrong with the design.
The story also made it clear that Jeff Henry, the middle son of the founders of Schlitterbahn likes to call himself the Lord of the Slide. He appears to be a dangerous megalomaniac who defied the experts and rushed his death trap to the public to make a profit and make a name for himself.
As for you putting down an invention of Mr. Demster's, well, Mediocre Dave, what have you ever invented--and successfully brought to market? Nothing.

The same Disney where just this summer news of a two-year-old boy from Nebraska being attacked by an alligator and pulled into a lagoon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort? Who builds a place like this on top of where alligators are known to live. Did this same Stan warn Disney about all of these safety issues before hand?
So I don't think poking holes and implications of non-safe operations at some other water park, to then turn around and point out that person was a part of another company, where numerous deaths have been associated with their operations, that to me would make someone very unconvinced of what they were being told.
Tracy could care less about facts and proper credentials it would appear. No she would rather support non-critical hearsay from people who have no direct role in the event nor can they really prove their point or role beyond some silly drawings that fail to carry much weight. But she then can turn around and trash anyone who she deems is questioning her opinion that she has no educated background to give an factual opinion of in the first place.
KCTV5 hasn't had a decent investigative reporter since Stan Cramer died. Good reporters get statements from people who are experts in their field of education. These two interviewed that I saw were in my opinion, were not experts for sure and two fools who had contacted the station seeking some attention and got it.
The facts Dave brought out about the two at least had some links to read about and form an opinion based on the subjects and subject in question.
I would hope Dave would pull a Chastain and slap a Hodgdon type lawsuit on Tracy if what others are saying on here is true about what she said.

If something dangerous is REPORTED IN WRITING (not just verbally) and the property owner does not take any remedial action, then when there is an accident, further financial damages are accrued.
