    In 1954 the residents thought this house was just as ugly then as the residents view it now. If ever a tear down and rebuild were needed to take place, it was with this house.

    12:00: Given that it's a moot point as far as you're concerned, isn't it nice to have a house in Mission Hills that isn't a faux Tudor, French whatever, colonial monstrosity, or whatever it is they call what they shoehorn into lots when they tear something down? (Here's looking at you, Larsen Builders.)

    The house was featured in this month's Dwell, by the way.
