After any significant rain, longtime Kansas City urban core residents realize that many of our low lying streets will be flooded.
AND ONCE AGAIN WE'RE WARNING EARLY MORNING KANSAS CITY URBAN CORE MOTORISTS OF WIDESPREAD FLOODING ON LOCAL STREETS!!!
Why does this happen? There are a lot of reasons that mostly involve the misplaced priorities and the speculative development deals of City Hall but one of the biggest landmarks in this discussion is a $2.5 BILLION settlement with the EPA and a great deal of work mandated on the local storm sewer system which remains incomplete.
Meanwhile, this cowtown continues to build luxury hotels that are unaffordable for most residents.
