"Google Fiber to test home wireless internet in up to 24 US areas"

If it is anything like the existing Google Internet they will test in up t0 24 houses and then cherry pick the places to grab the quick bucks. If ever a company can move rural Internet backwards 309 years it is Google. Add to it the frustration of having Comcast and Time Warner in the same metro and man is KC screwed. There are the realities of your high tech city.

@12:24pm
Progress on goal number one: Not a chance in 100 years.
On goal number two: Well on the way and more progress every day.
And Sly and the gang will just keep going until the money runs out.
Frosty.
KCMO: the laughingstock of the country.

RE: Kansas City Writer Seeks To Finally Unite His Queer And Latino Cultures

Mr. Morales would seem to be preoccupied with what sets him apart from the whole of society.

E.g., "Kansas City's Latino Writers Collective", "Kansas City's LGBTQ writers of color", "people of color, especially queer people of color", "a queer person separate from your ethnicity, but then I can also be Latino separate from my queerness", etc.

Mr. Morales, with respect, holding yourself out as a member of a small minority group only invites others to view you as an outsider rather than a member of the greater community.

How about, "Miguel M. Morales, writer"?
