TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! REVENGE OF OLDER AND BOLDER KANSAS CITY FLASH MOBS!!! HOW WILL KANSAS CITY COPE WITH LATEST SUMMER 2016 CRIME SPREE TREND?!?!

Last night our blog community talked this topic before any other media outlet in Kansas City . . .

Now let's talk solutions in a manner that's more creative and thoughtful than so much racist, personal and family photo spam that clogs up social media . . .

AMID ONE OF THE MOST VIOLENT WEEKS IN KANSAS CITY THIS YEAR . . . HOW DO WE STOP THE CARNAGE, VIOLENCE AND EMBOLDENED CRIMINAL CLASS WITH FEWER POLICE OFFICERS ON LOCAL STREETS THANKS TO MAYOR SLY'S BUDGET CUTS?!?!

Like it or not, Pokémon Go robberies, increased Midtown carjacking risk and now this latest local episode reveal a tragic uptick in the threat of Kansas City crime with no real solution insight.

KMBC: Flash mob steals from KC 7-Eleven store, police say

KCTV5: The 7-Eleven store at East 31st Street and Gillham Road was quickly overrun by young people who swarmed throughout the store. Police say nearly 50 people were involved.

KSHB: Shoplifters target KC 7-Eleven in a flash mob

Fox4: KC police release video of about 50 young people swarming into 7-Eleven, some don’t pay for items

Take another look at the video . . .

You decide and suggest a workable solution . . .

  1. Pretty sure moving to Parkville is the only solution.

  2. I was going to say that this isn't the appropriate forum to seriously address this question but let's look at the citizens task force against violence and realize that they've been silent all year except for an occasional peep about black lives matter rhetoric and the typical anti gun quote. What has Mayor Sly done? What has the council women in the 4th district done during the crime spike in their district. Those are the real questions that need to be asked and local media won't do that. The only place those questions are even posed are here.

  4. The "Citizens Task Force" was a big success.
Why just look at the results.

  5. You think maybe fewer police have something to do with all of this? That's what you seem to imply TKC, just come out an say it. The Northeast News had a great column on this subject this week.

  14. The thing is, the "parents" of the pieces of shit you see in this video see nothing wrong with what their kids are doing. Perfectly acceptable behavior for them. I find it perfectly acceptable for the owner to shoot all of the thieves without having to fear going to prison. Can you imagine the fear the poor guy or Galena working must have been feeling? They probably legitimately thought they were going to be shot themselves. Ever notice you only see one race exhibit so much abhorrent behavior?

  15. Kansas City needs help.
    I'm surprised by all this.
    Let's find a solution.
    Law enforcement needs to help.

    Never saw such a thing!
    I can't believe it!
Got to do something about it.
    Good kids wouldn't do that.
    Everybody should be careful.
    Really careful.
    Surely police can find them!

    RAAAAAACIST!

  18. Yes, the Black community should be in an outrage. Why so quiet? Preachers, teachers, officials, civic leaders? That could be a Black owned business. Then what? It could trend. A Ferguson Effect. Not my child? You pay that phone bill, that Facebook account, did you know where your child was? What they were doing out so late? Responsible parents get in that ass and get answers instead of paying lawyers or going to court dates. What? Hold up posters and say free my child? Even though video caught them on film? Take responsibility...

  20. Let guess...no snitches, bitches. Assholes, the lot of you. That was a mob. You should be frightened. Attempted again and someone will get hurt. Talk to YOUR kids. They have a choice in life to do right or wrong. Right is always the better choice. Teach them why. Lead by example.

  21. This is a small symptom of the Obama/Hillary/Carwash/Frosty state of our union.

No respect for the laws of civil society.
    No respect for law enforcement.

  22. To be listed as a felon, to check that little box on an application your whole life for a flipping soda? A candy bar? Just being in that group makes you an accomplice. No college. No career. No decent job or outlook in life for some gum. How bloody ass stupid can you be? We see. Don't do it again. Walk away. Just go home. Stay home. Find something better to do than rob a 7-11 on a Saturday night, please.

  24. All those teen girls out late unsupervised. Baby-bait? Want to a young grandma? Parents just wanted to have some "me" time and get their drink on. Wonder why their child is like that. Makes you go, hmmmmm?

  25. Mom and "don't know who the father is" sitting back drinking a Colt 45 malt liquor.

  26. Just feed the stereotype about Black youths. The"good" kids get a raw deal. The ones doing right have a hard way to go. They get a shadow cast on them. Very funny, huh? So called leaders sure can make big speeches and beg for money. Then turn a blind eye to something like this. Not my problem. Until they see a "relative". Liars and fakers. And you wonder why the kids do that?

    ReplyDelete
  27. No, not that bait! It was a mass robbery, a store larceny en masse. And not enough police to handle. Period. Kids, get smart. Enough. They're watching and waiting. Don't do it again.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 5:53 you think they'll ever look for a job? Their entire family has known nothing but welfare for generations. They think work and education is for suckeres . Why work when others will pay you to stay home, crank out babies, smoke weed, and rob convenient stores? I wonder how many of those kids are already "parents" themselves? In 200 years people will be saying the exact same things said about black people and they'll all be true.

  29. Need to sell all these 7-11's in the hood to some Korean owner/operators. Homies will think twice about trying this shit when the guy/gal behind the counter is packing heat and not hesitant to use it.

  30. SERIOUS QUESTION:

Has there ever been an all-white, or even majority-white flash mob at a convenience store?

Has a white mob ever looted and burned a QuikTrip, like what happened in Ferguson, MO?

Someone above made the good comment about how the good kids have to overcome the negative stereotypes caused by these thugs, but why does there seem to be such a widespread culture of destruction present among black youth?

Why do Asians have the stereotype of being good students and overachievers?

Why do Latinos have the stereotype of tackling hard work as long as they're given a chance to make a better life for the kids?

Why do blacks have the stereotype of being loud, angry, unlawful, and asking for entitlements?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Answer to the first question these flash mob robberies started in Southeast Asia, they are pretty common in eastern Europe too. Go to youtube and you'll see a ton of Russian flash mob robberies.

But in the U.S., you're right, it's mostly an "urban" phenomena.

  34. 7:29, "flash mobs," i.e. meet-and-disperse events organized by social media, did start in Europe and Asia, where teens are both connected and savvy, as well as creative. But flash mob robberies are creations of African American teens, who are connected thanks to Obamaphones, some savvy and deep seated criminality.

Actually there is no indication I have seen that the latest KC black mob-and-rob was social media generated. I suspect it was put together in person. Regardless, they are just criminals who know they can get away with it because nobody dares to stop them. Next stop, prison. And good riddance.

  35. Best property crime video of 2016.

    ReplyDelete
  36. This is just another reason for the decent people of KCMO to get the hell out. Tony and many others can thumb their noses at the suburbs, but who wants to stop for fuel or a soda and get in the middle of BS like this? Yes, crime is slowly making its way to the better suburbs, but isn't the daily plague that it is in KCMO. Plus, when crimes do happen in the burbs, they're usually dealt with/solved quickly. So roll your eyes at our "beige houses on cul de sacs," but know that there's something to be said for not putting up with the shit show that KCMO has become.

I am sure the children meant no harm. I am sure they had the munchies from studying for their medical school admissions test. They have such high spirits, those teens. The are all just victims of racism in an oppressive society. They will give back to the community when they get their fair share. I am sure they will!

  41. Maybe when mean Jean is willing to prosecute then maybe the cops will be willing to arrest. Oh wait, they don't wanna all be strung up on CNN like the cops who "killed" Freddie gray. Oh wait, they didn't and had to suffer through a witch hunt to then all be exonerated. There's no incentive to be a cop in kansas city. That's all your (our fault).
