TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY WESTSIDE RESIDENTS MOBILIZE AGAINST DEVELOPER GENTRIFICATION TAX BREAKS!!!



Check the ongoing Kansas City urban core neighborhood effort to rally against real estate speculators looking for city hall corporate welfare.

Experts inform us that the string of ongoing meetings is part of a tactic used to wear down residents untied to save their neighborhood and a school zone from a speculative venture that can't finance itself. The reality is that this is sign of yet another division betwixt rich and poor who are battling for the soul of KCMO.

This meeting is to inform the community about the 17th and Madison development project. We want to educate everyone on what this development group is proposing and why we are against it. We want everyone to understand what it means to rezone a low residential neighborhood to a high residential neighborhood (rezoning).

This meeting is VERY important! We want to let you know what steps we have to take as a community before the next CITY HALL MEETING on JULY 13th.

SAVE OUR VACANT WEARHOUSE! Some of the new residents will use the empty streets in "our" neighborhood for driving on, and they will be paying for them, too! It's a nightmare scenario! People might actually live here! What will happen to all the vacant, weedy lots and empty sidewalks?!?!?!

Quit subsidizing parking and 90% of subsidies in KC go away.

Storing your car is not a constitutional right, nor is making sure no one else parks on "your" street.

KC's parking obsession is out of fucking control.
