"Here is a cartoon that I did in 2008 when we were debating light rail and sewage was spilling into Brush Creek. You'd figure that eight years later we'd have fixed the sewage problem but instead we've chosen to put our resources into rail transit.

ReplyDelete3:22; in 2008 we were debating light rail from the airport to the zoo by way of the Plaza for $1B and a citywide 1/8 sales tax increase that wouldn't come close to raising $1B.
DeleteSo when are we going to out our resources into crumbling infrastructure and the east side, because the entire country is getting fed up with waiting for solutions to the racial tension. If there's a race riot in KC after Trump is elected, the streetcar is a white symbol of division so I hope it's okay.

ReplyDeleteThey are using those rate increases to fund a secret invisible toy train for white people from outer space who will enslave us all but mostly our poor brown brothers and won't let us park our cars anywhere or have one of those sweet houses with a little garage attached to a big garage that everyone wants.
