TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY METRO PO-PO ROAD RAGE OVER BAD DRIVING ETIQUETTE OF COLLEAGUE AMID FUNERAL PROCESSION FOR CAPT. MELTON!!!

Here's an important share from our blog community which features KANSAS CITY BEHIND THE SCENES LAW ENFORCEMENT SCUTTLEBUTT and some of the discourse during a tragic occasion.

We're posting this as a BLIND ITEM because we know the funerals are tough and everybody grieves in their own way . . . But it also deserves mention because it reminds us that POLICE ARE REAL PEOPLE who have their differences, disagreements and drama just like everybody else.

Here's the word . . .

"Today, leaving the funeral for KCK Captain Melton in Leavenworth at the military cemetery, A LOCAL POLICE OFFICAL apparently couldn't wait to process out of the cemetery with the literally hundreds of other police vehicles. He decided to drive through the cemetery grass in his police car past the other police vehicles. Had this just been a normal grassy area I get it. It was not. This is a United States government and military cemetery where thousands of our veterans, some of whom died in battle are buried.

I hate to even call him LAW ENFORCEMENT because he doesn't deserve the title, much less the badge. Several people and officers saw this and were disgusted . . ."

Now . . .

We absolutely understand the outrage here from the KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS and a couple of others on the issue of conduct at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery where Capt. Melton was put to rest . . . But let's also not forget that this is a time of grief and stress for the law enforcement community across the nation so we reserve judgement and, again, simply to remind folks that debate is part of the cycle of life . . .

You decide . . .

  1. all funeral processions are a cluster. They are also dangerous, there have been motorcycle police in KC who have been killed during them.

It's a tradition that needs to stop given so much more traffic nowadays then when they were popularized.

  2. Some of these guys are brave protectors who keep our society safe. Some are worse than a sewing circle. Many are both or neither.

  3. Rage over police self-importance and entitlement? That is part and parcel of the job. Police are also allowed to beat their wifes and children without recourse, shoot people without cause, harass others and abuse power. That's been fact since at least prior to 1865.

  4. yeah I'll bet that really happened.

  6. These guys are worse than a sewing circle and I'm just grateful for some kind of story that isn't all the militaristic garbage that's taking over the rest of the kc media. It's like they're all working as p.i.o.s for the police.

  10. ^^^^^^* Yeah he was with Mosby, MO before they were incorporated by Clay County and had several issues and complaints there. He washed out from some other baby departments too. Essentially he's a security guard who takes steroids.

    1. They are not the first responders for KCI. They have their own airport police department and federal officials. KCPD also responds to the airport before Ferrelview would.

  14. Ha, The chief of Ferrelview has an apt complex, 1 gas station and a duck pond to patrol. Throw in the trailer park and he must be over whelmed.

    1. Sounds like another Randolph Police State or Lone Jack. Only a matter of time before they get audited by the state and Feds.

  15. One of the Ferrelview "officers" has been with 17 departments and security companies in the last 7 years. Fired from several of them.

    1. One of the former Ferrelview "cops" is now running for Jackson County sheriff. He did the same BS stuff when he was in Ferrelview

  16. Clayton works out at planet fitness all the time and parks his police car out front. He walked in the other day with a tactical vest and sunglasses on over his workout clothes. Despite it being a "No Judgement Zone" hsha everyone thinks he's a big steroid using douche.

  17. Seriously, what agency drove through the grass? Anyone have pictures?

  18. Supposed to have been Ferrelview's chief
