KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS SAY THIS PATTERN OF SHODDY URBAN CORE STRUCTURES ENDANGERS NOT ONLY RESIDENTS BUT ALSO FIRST RESPONDERS!!!

City Hall quickly demanded a tear down of the building that collapsed today as mainstream news reports that property records suggest the land is owned by Thoa Thi Takim and Thuan Hieu Tran.

Remember that within walking distance of this structure there was a deadly alleged arson blaze which claimed the lives of two 1st Responders . . . Afterward, the Tran Family quickly responded and lamented the loss but assured locals that there were no building code violations.

Nevertheless, Kansas City's urban core remains home to collapsing structures as a pattern of blight that even City Hall acknowledges starts to emerge this Summer. This time, thankfully, nobody was hurt but Kansas City Insiders say that the responsibility is falls to local government in order to assure more stringent inspections and safety rules amid repeated collapses.

  1. Housing should be a concern of city hall but they're too busy building new hotels and streetcars.

TKC, remember that this is a bigger issue that should come under the jurisdiction of Kansas City's Housing department that just came out of 20 years of receivership from the feds.
