A not-so-gentle-reminder by way of flooded streets, knocked down trees and powerless neighborhoods that the priorities of local politicos are continually misplaced while the municipal government throughout the metro continues to play developer rather than do any kind of maintenance . . .

RIGHT NOW MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS REPORTING POWER OUTAGES FOR AT LEAST 50K PEOPLE IN THE KANSAS CITY METRO!!!

We need to put up more telephone and steel poles with Google Fiber hung on them and Streetcars attached to them!

That will fix it and future proof us!

So exactly what was it they fixed that requires a ten percent increase in electric bills? I doesn't seem like anything changed for the consumer as a result of it...whatever it was.
