Meet The New Metcalf South?!?!

Our reader community notes better local government in the burbs . . . Take home quote KC City hall should note: "The entire project will cost about $80 million and will require no public financing And "Developers came up with a plan for the site last year, but it was withdrawn because it didn't get enough support."

"Don't just rubber stamp any plan that comes your way."

  1. No public financing and it still needed to pass public scrutiny. That sucks. However, in KC the public writes the check and there is no public scrutiny. That sucks worse.

  2. Hahaha! A Lowe's, across the street from a Home Depot. Way to go OP! Keep North JoCo blighted and ghettoifying. Never change, JoCo, the fads of the late 80s have to live somewhere.

  4. I suppose 12:24 would like to see a taxpayer funded retail strip mall that will be torn down in 10 years. Or better yet some taxpayer funded faux urban crap.
