KANSAS CITY MURDER #52: WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH DURING FIGHT!!!

Despite calls for peace and some remarkable advocacy on the part of Kansas City faith communities . . . The local body count continues.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY COUNTS ANOTHER MURDER THAT PUSHES THE HOMICIDE COUNT TOWARD THE HIGHEST NUMBER IN 5 YEARS FOR THIS DATE ON THE CALENDAR!!!

Additionally . . .

In the past month this is the 3rd knife related homicide which should put so much anti-gun talk in perspective.

Police numbers put the yesterday's homicide count at 51 so this latest murder will DEFINITELY count as #52 compared to 37 at this time last year. The homicide solved/cleared rate has fallen to 43% which means the odds are pretty good of getting away with murder in Kansas City.

Meanwhile, near the midpoint of Summer the level of violence seems to be escalating with very little new ideas from City Hall beyond typical gun control rhetoric and a very real sense of frustration.

  2. Build a police station there. That will solve everything. Oh wait! They have one near there. Nevermind. Waiting for the Rev. to claim that the zip code is the most dangerous based on 30 year statistics so they can justify razing the neighborhood...that the Rev. doesnt live in nor is apart of.

  4. Get out the card board signs, teddy bears, candles, and wish the family condolences, then the mayor, police chief and board of police commissioners can form another "community" task force to "study" the problem. Make sure on Sunday the local churches preach community outrage and form more vigils, while the pass around the offering plate.
