1. Help Kansas City Tax Incentive Reform
I'm pretty sure this group pushing Mayor Sly's TIF fix plan is a false flag given that an "ordinance with an accelerated effective date" pretty much wipes out most rules and politicos use this trick all the time. Still, more binding effort would be nice than planting promo stories and faking a consensus as usual.
2. Help Fix So Many Kansas City Potholes & Water Main Breaks
This Summer local streets are exceptionally horrible as any driver through Downtown & Midtown can attest.
3. Make Sure Mayor's Nights Doesn't End In Violence Again
This year a young-girl said she was sexually assaulted at the event and this pizza party finale has ended horribly for the past 3 years-in-a-row.
4. Develop A Plan For An Independent Audit Of Kansas City's Water Department
Rates have TRIPLED over the past few years for residents and the pressure of an EPA settlement has taken its toll on residents. Kansas City's water infrastructure troubles are only growing worse and most residents believe it's time for a better plan than literally throwing money down a well.
5. Address Kansas City's Bloody Summer Homicide Spike Of 2016 With Something More Substantial Than Tweets Or Speeches
The level of local violence continues to rise and whilst the Mayor has been very outspoken on the topic . . . It's his job to develop a plan beyond gun control rhetoric, catchphrases and solemn interviews after every exceptionally deadly episode.

His usual course of action is not working and we need to work on fixing the problems in our community, not just talking about solutions bUT at least trying to put them into action. I may not agree with this list bit I will say that we can't wait to deal with the problems that confront us.
