No complaints yet on here about the checkpoints? Remember that checkpoints are funded through state and federal grant dollars and are required by the state and federal departments of transportation.
ReplyDeleteSo glad we had more officers than arrests at this checkpoint. 98.5% of the cars were inconvenienced by this unreasonable search and seizure. A whopping 1.5% of the drivers stopped were suspected of drunk driving.
ReplyDeleteWaste of time, waste of money, and a practice that is a threat to the very foundation of personal freedoms. The slippery slope has become a cliff.

ReplyDeleteA good point they are funded by state and federal dollars. How about using my our tax dollars to put those cops on the streets. I bet they could of arrested 9 drunk drivers plus made an influence of appearence on the streets and been available for emergency calls.
