DISGRACE!!! TREACHEROUS KANSAS CITY BLUE RIDGE CUTOFF BUS STOP RANKED AMONG THE WORST IN THE NATION!!!

Here's an important look at transit suffering outside the loop thanks to so many cheerleaders who don't care about anybody who doesn't live along a selfish and smallish 2.2 mi. line or its planned extension.

Description of a 3rd District tragedy waiting to happen: "This stop is in Kansas City near Kaufmann Stadium, where the Royals play. It’s located on the side of a multi-lane highway with no crosswalks nearby, and no place other than a vast grassy area to wait for the bus. There is no signage indicating exactly where the stop is either. An adventurous way to get to and from a Royals game!"

  1. Imagine that bus stop with cars packed, lanes stacked, pitch black, cold, rainy or snowy ...the bus can't get over for it's blocked by cars. It's illegal to pick up riders in the middle of the highway between moving vehicles. It's the last bus out that way. No other buses. It passes you by. Happened to me one too many times. I'm 50, used to clean toilets, got fired cause I had to leave early to catch a bus. That place there. Otherwise I'd have to walk home along the highway by myself past drunk driver to get to the " city " to catch the last bust bus if lucky or walk the rest of the way home to the KC....rain or cold.

  3. If there is a need for a bus stop there, private businesses should build it. Otherwise, the urban core shouldn't have to subsidize transit to areas built only for cars, and KC should quit building it's attractions in the middle of nowhere and build everything in the core of the city, where buses work.

  5. They haven't after all these decades and they won't. Get a car. They hire out from other cities anyway. Just be careful at night and in bad weather. Spots are like that all over the country. Yes, this one sucks. That's life. Just catch another bus, move, or get a different job. No worries.

  10. SuperDave, the public transportation is working with what is left...remember they took Money and still do fromATA. All for the little train that runs late and is 2.2 miles long and divides classes. Yes, he'll go to. congress. Got bitten by the power bug. Cannot go back a regular layman. Likes the media. Owns people. He has power.

  12. I agree with Dave, we have a system in place but could be working much more effective than what it is. And 12:53 you're correct they robbed the kitty and the taxpayers for a 2.2 mile joke. It will never be effective no matter how many billions they throw at it.

  13. Hey, all the inner city folk need that bus stop by the stadiums so they can keep their probation up to date with holding down a job for Aramark Food Service.... ;)

  14. Thank you for that opening. That could be asked of ANY fine eating establishment. You are not in that kitchen. Drive by at night. There are hotels out there. Other lives affected for there are homes down the hill and around the bend past the bridges. Worse bus stops along strip. Vote KC.
