THIS WEEKEND A SURGE OF PROPERTY CRIME HIT WALDO THAT HAS NEIGHBORS CRYING FOUL!!!
A quick roundup of what we can confirm . . .
- Gunfire echos through this enclave
This is a new one and it qualifies for property crime because randomly fired bullets have to come down somewhere . . . In this case, more than a bit of terrifying roof damage has neighbors concerned.
- Car Break-ins target home owners
Car crime is on the uptick everywhere but Waldo denizens closer to main thoroughfares find themselves hit hardest.
- A/C Theft leaves locals hot
An exceptionally cruel crime . . . Social media complaints reveal that callous criminals aren't afraid to pull A/C units right out of the window and leave their victims steaming mad.
Update . . . Don't take TKC's word for it. Check the Waldo Neighborhood Group on FB where more than a few locals have shared some of their complaints as well.
Like it or not, this is a trend that we've seen over the past few years and amid the turbulent Summer of 2016, it seems like things are getting worse in Waldo.

Thieves know there's not much you can do to stop them without putting your own life in danger, and that they will be long gone before the cops arrive. It's like having a license to steal.
