ReplyDeleteUh, maybe leave the Stars and Stripes lowered in Barry's hometown of Cook County (Illinois, that is) since that second largest county of the U.S. is looking more Chi-raq and Mogadishu in crimes and killings.
ReplyDeleteActually, the Flag Code orders read that only the U.S. prez and a state's governor can order flags flown at half-staff AND only for PRINCIPLE FIGURES of the U.S. GOVERNMENT!
So, yeah, now it's half-staffed for whatever half-assed reason.

ReplyDeleteI personally am tired of seeing the stars and stipes at half staff. Every month there is some reason found to show the USA is a country in mourning.
ReplyDeleteIt is time to honor the original flag code as written. I am sorry for the people that were murdered. We've had about that many murdered in Kansas CIty this year. I don't care about their sexual orientation they were people and we should not have joy for their loss.
But leave my flag at full staff until Barry O dies. Then shoot off fireworks.
So we have a bunch of rural white inbreds being contemptuous of people for being gay Puerto Ricans. Guess that makes sense. More or less.
