TKC MUST READ!!! FBI HONCHO NAME CHECKS KANSAS CITY AMID SERMON ON 'ANTI-POLICE CULTURE' AND VIOLENCE!!!

In an important bit of testimony on the rising tide of violence around the nation . . . Kansas City earned a mention from one of the top law men in the nation:

"In the past few years, violence has erupted in cities such as Baltimore, New York City and Ferguson, Mo., after incidents of police brutality spawned racially charged protests.

"In looking for a unifying connection, FBI Director James Comey said one has not been found.

“What is the connection among Birmingham and Baltimore? Las Vegas and Dallas? Chicago and Kansas City?” Comey asked.

"The only definitive answer: The majority of deaths happen in what he called “cities within cities.”

"To combat the anti-police culture perpetuated in low-income, high-crime inner communities, Comey said a bond must be formed between the community and its local law enforcement."

  3. That kid in Ferguson tried to kill that cop, didn't he?

  5. "It's hard to hate up close".

Bullshit. Get a little too close and you will, as have millions through the last 50 years, be assaulted, raped, murdered and robbed.

I am still dead, in a Black on White Hate crime that no one remembers, here, in this city, just a few months ago.

Comey can go tell that shit to the tens of tens of thousands of victims of Black on White Hate crimes every year.

  6. Working with the police in stressed neighborhoods might make a lot of sense for the good people who actually live there. But railing against the cops and the establishment and blaming every problem on everyone other than the people actually perpetrating the crime has paid very well for decades for the "leaders" in the black community.
Until others push the old grifters aside and do what's best for the community rather than feathering the same old nests nothing's going to improve.
Why should the cops continuously put themselves at risk for people who place no value on common sense, civil behavior, education, hard work, or even human life?

  7. Any damn fool can see what the connection is, but no speaker at a 'Race and Law Enforcement Conference' is going to come right out and say "Mud Ducks!".

  8. @7:08 as intelligent as you would like to sound, you have no idea what you are talking about...smh. You clearly have no concept of cause and effect, or history. If you did you would not have made these ignorant assessments. I suggest you gain a better understanding of how and why the "black community" is in the state its in then read up on the authentic history of the matter...and no everything in your history book is not correct!

    1. Your people are murdering each other all the time. It's auto-genocide. Give up on blame and vigils and your grifter community leaders and take back your streets.

  10. It's not hard to hate at any distance. Ever talk to a white woman who had a mixed child and hated it? White people do it all the time.

  11. You get what you ask for. The people who suffer the most are those who bitch about cops the most. Reasonable people call it Karma.

Meanwhile, those of us in the suburbs get to enjoy safe neighborhoods, awesome schools and hot moms running in spandex.

  12. 7:19 offers the same tired old excuses and blame for everyone else that continue to drive good folks who value safety and educational opportunities for themselves and their children out of areas like KCMO's east side.
It's important to learn from history, but not to be paralyzed by those lessons, and repeating the same tired slogans over and over again produce the kinds of results folks in east side neighborhoods suffer from every day.
    It's 2016.
    Emmett Till happened in 1955.
White redlining realtors operated in the 1950s.
The Kansas City School District has been a trough for fake contractors and consultants and an employment agency for unqualified family and friends for decades.
Many tens of millions of dollars have been poured into "projects" of one kind or another. People need to ask themselves what THEY can do to improve their condition instead of blaming everyone else and making demands of them.
    Charity begins at home.
    At some point

  13. Oh that is soooo RAYSITZ. We know he is really talking about ghetto coons. Better fire his ass and find another Nipsy Russel clone to john the Obamy clan. We can't have a white man standing up there making sense. This is America.

  14. 7:08, gets it. The west Dotte has former KCPS and urban KCK families (all races) who tell us their good kids deserved better from the adults. These are largely church attending, two parent homes, with some parents working two jobs to afford decent homes and good schools--and REQUIRING their teens to assist in the efforts. For them, personal accountability is the model and community contributions are essential. Plus, safeguarding your life and hard earned property while looking at blight and violence SHOULD NOT be a frikken round the clock distraction!!
