Quick count to see how Kansas City is paying for so many new toys and pet projects:
"In 2007 there were 1,423 officers from the chief to patrol. In 2011 that number was 1,386. Today Lemon said the number is about 1,320."
Meanwhile, the homicide count continues to trend upward . . .
Battle continues over elimination of police positions

But..but..but the etas was ONLY1%!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteseems like a good idea to keep firing the good ones, now
ReplyDeleteGet rid of KCPD they can't fight crime any way.
ReplyDeleteAnd meet the ever growing public works management staff. How many deputy directors and how many assistant city engineers?
ReplyDeleteSo can anyone tell the difference? All I know is you have to beat them to the donuts at Quick Trip or you do without. If the numbers meant anything ticket revenue would be way down instead of up. I guess that tells you something about priorities in Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteWHAAAAAA you fat donut eating fuck..why dont you eat a good breakfast, might make you able to leave a comment that isn't so retarded sounding
ReplyDeleteHow about changing 75% of the unneeded firemen to cops?
ReplyDeleteBuild a police station to spur economic development to create jobs.
ReplyDelete@10:07, hell, maybe now that FD in Kansas can bring guns to work, 75% of their PD can get cut loose. Wow, guns where people have to put up with each other for 24 hours straight. What could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeleteWe've wasted too much money on KCPD the way it is.
