To wit . . .

THANKS TO THE POWER OF OUR TKC BLOG COMMUNITY REPORTING AND THE REAX OF THOSE OUTRAGED AFTER OUR EPIC BLOGGING . . . THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS CHANGED THEIR WHITES ONLY ADVERTS FOR NEGRO LEAGUES DAY!!!

Check the time-stamps . . . Our KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS noted this story FIRST:

The response was swift and stern and we noticed former council members along with a great many political denizens following our lead in order to create change . . .

Here's just a bit of juxtaposition to prove our point . . . And a reminder that OUR LAST REMAINING FREE SPEECH KANSAS CITY MEDIA OUTLET remains important in challenging the status quo:

Now, the story here isn't that our blog community is AWESOME . . . We already knew that . . . What's more important is that more than a bit of critical discourse from our blog community once again created change and for that the credit belongs solely to this town's biggest newshounds who are kind enough to visit this bloggy goodness outlet on the reg. Natch.

  1. Again, I don't look forward to the comments but I'm glad they made the change. It was a rare Royals marketing misstep. Those guys have been on the money since the world series win. Good for them for recognizing the error of their ways.

    3. Not that I don't believe in diversity but, it is called Negro League for a reason. They deserve at least that much respect after fighting to make there way in america after being forced here.

  4. Tony, your compulsive desire to appear of importance, only makes you seem all the more insecure.

But it's the internet. You can say any shit you want.

  6. Amazing so many people are unable to distinguish between marketing hype and reality.

  7. This Toy Train hype is even funnier. Stars Friday eve bullshit entry.

"As late-to-the-party supporters of the downtown line, The Star has been rooting for its success in recent months. That’s partly because we wanted public funds spent efficiently on what could be a new amenity for downtown. And it’s because proponents have put forward legitimate reasons to be excited about its opening.:

  10. All this jitterbug glorification is getting a little old. I stopped at the post office the other day to mail a letter and noticed the clerk trying to put a stamp on my envelope with coon on it. I said hold up there, if you're going to charge me for a stamp with an animal on it, I demand that it have four legs. She laughed and reach behind her and got a stamp with a tiger on it. I smiled and handed her a dollar and told her to keep the change.

  18. Kansas City bending over backwards proving to the rest of the world how many idiots live here.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 7:49 Are you alright?

  20. Niggers are hideous apes and if there's any possibility humans coming to a baseball game might see some in the stands they probably won't show up.

Not to mention humans are wary of being shot or raped if there are niggers in the vicinity.

  21. ^^^ White trash so jealous and sad with his life. I notice the anger in these posts ebbs and flows with the guy's drinking. Life isn't treating you well and that's really sad. I can tell how angry you are and I don't mind giving you some attention because it's so late and you're obviously alone, lonely and lashing out. I hope that you can find another person in the real world to keep you company but you're going to have to let go of your anger. It's killing you. And trolling a local blog probably isn't the best way to deal with it.

I hope you can get the help you need @9:01.

  22. 7:21 is as racist as my 95 year old grandpappy but twice as funny.

You've got to give the guy his due, he can turn a phrase.
