Sister Souljah Coming Soon To Kansas City!!!

For the literary crowd, here's a look at an upcoming event featuring an author who has accomplished more than just yelling on that one Public Enemy b-side track during the 90s which got her the cover of Newseek.

Take a look at the promo from the KCK Public Library . . .

"Activist, educator, hip hop artist, and bestselling author Sister Souljah is best known for her autobiography, No Disrespect, and her novel, The Coldest Winter Ever. As a community activist, she participated in the anti-apartheid movement, organized rallies against racially motivated crimes, created the African Youth Survival Camp, and worked as the Executive Director of Daddy’s House Social Programs. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and was also educated at Cornell University and University of Salamanca."

Like it or not, there has been such a big demand that they moved the event to Wyandotte High School's auditorium . . . And their giving away 300 books that apparently haven't sold yet.

It's seems like a good time for those into genre fiction & social justice BUT it might be worth it to wait for Flavor Flav to write a book . . . Hopefully about his on and off again romance with Brigitte Nielsen.

More in a bit . . .

  4. Thank heavens an "activist" is coming to KCMO.
The city doesn't have anywhere near enough of clueless, uninformed, unemployed people parading around telling everybody else how to live their lives.
Round up the usual local suspects!
    Frosty!

  6. This is the tall tale of what happens when an inquisitive young person (born Lisa Williamson) keeps getting rewarded by adults for being disruptive.

And, as is common in the black community, it began with this young black woman's initiative to push African-centered education into the school system. Because she got positive reinforcement from adult agitators, it set her on a path to become a "community activist" that has her now, in her 50's, still traveling the activist circuit.

As for the speaking engagement.....I'll PASS!!

  7. Just imagine having to sit through the rote recitation of Leftist cant and slathering of white guilt on the white-bread-beta-males like Byron, who show up and self flagellate themselves into a paroxysm of ecstasy.

"DOMINATE ME SISTA!! DOMINATE ME!!! I HATE MYSELF!!! GIMME ABSOLUTION OH SISTA!!"

I doubt her degree provides her the necessary credentials to acquire the Nuclear Launch Codes, but, who knows, in this moribund and necrotic, sick, twisted Amerika, dead between the eyes, loud mouth blacks are venerated as if they cured cancer just yesterday, when all they really do, is spread the disease of violence, entitlement and government sponsored indolence.

    Fuck Sister Soulwhatever.

    Will she mention my name?

I doubt it. I am still dead in a Black On White Hate Crime, committed here in this city, that no one will mention.

  14. I wonder if she can even read excerpts from her own book? I've got $10 that says she is barely literate at best.
